If you’re referring to the one circled below, it’s called out as white/beige (I called it white/tan). That’s why I used the connector position numbers too:
They’ll fit.
The cameras for the 2025 surround view camera system are different part numbers than previous years, so those might have to be swapped out.
All of the wiring in the three connectors on the mirrors need to be rearranged because the circuits are all in different positions on the...
In order of positions:
1) black- ground
2) yellow- stop/turn signal
3) white/grey stripe- park lamp
4) white/tan stripe- backup lamp
5) white/blue stripe- Lin bus
8) red/blue stripe- constant battery +
Two different features. Trailer reverse steering is what you have with the knob, which steers a trailer in reverse.
Trailer reverse guidance is a function of surround view camera system with trailer tow mirrors that gives you a rear Split View of the side cameras. 1500’s just started getting...
Sales code is the unique 3 letter code for each item/feature on the truck. They are shown in the order guides. You can request the build sheet for your VIN that shows all the features and sales codes your truck is built with from Ram or a dealership.
You can find TSB’s on the NHTSA website...
First mistake- asking a stellantis employee about a feature.
That’s the way it is anyway. Sales codes are generally not available to add after the fact, unless it’s a Mopar accessory kit that is offered, such as the trailer brake controller or power side steps.
I recently talked to him. He has...
Based on the behavior I see of the surround view kit on yours and @Laramieblue truck, and that same behavior on previous model year trucks, I know for a fact that it will work provided trailer surround view is in the bcm configuration on these 2025’s (and I’m sure it is).
Once we figure out how...
You’re confusing/mixing terms when you say aux 1, 12 pin, and aux 2 port. Aux 1 and aux 2 are both run through the 12 pin.
The top port is simply the “tow mode camera port” for the DRVM.
The resolution that you see won’t get any better once configured correctly, because even though the...
Yep. Like I said before, these 2025’s aren’t programmed for trailer surround view camera system. It’s programmed for the 82216068AB auxiliary trailer cameras.
This behavior of the trailer surround view camera system on any truck programmed for auxiliary trailer cameras is well documented since...
This is incorrect. 68527599AA plugs into the coax port on the bumper not the 12 pin, and displays in the digital rear view mirror, not on aux 1.
68527709AD is the trailer surround view camera kit.
Manual updates only. I believe they stopped trying OTA map updates because they are too big to send over cellular, and were causing impartial install issues.

It’s a little goofy how they have that set up to work. Try switching over to headlights on, then verify that all lights are on, then move it back over to auto and re-check the lights (provided it’s dark enough for the lights to kick on).
