That's a good option. I was trying to avoid going through the firewall, and someone on here had suggested F60. To each their own though. Good luck with your project.
My answer to your question is yes and no. After attaching the capacitors more thoroughly to ensure they were not the issue, I troubleshot the stock speakers vs the Infinity and found there is not enough consistent static for me to not keep the Infinities. What I discovered moreso than anything...
It is, but if you use a fuse tap to properly hook it up, you will blow the lesser strength fuse going to your added equipment before blowing your ECM/PCM fuse. I don't have much electrical experience, but from what I have learned from watching many car audio type videos, it is safe to do with a...
To you and the OP...Not saying I agree with it, just letting you know what my dealer said. Just letting the OP know it is not just his dealership's fix for this issue. I can assure you if this does happen on my truck, I will be pushing for warranty replacement.
To the OP...Not that this helps necessarily, but I spoke to my dealership about this same brake light leaking issue and they said there is no warranty fix for it that CDJR will reimburse the dealership for, so the silicone is their only cost-effective option. This is a known issue, but they have...
I added my LED DRLs and I used a Micro II fuse tap and used F60 under the hood. My lights activate with the ignition and turn off on a delay like the headlights. There are small square openings on the bottom of each side of the active shutter, so I ran my wires through there and then just played...
So, because time is of the essence for my situation, I ordered the Tekonsha Primus IQ and the compatible adapter all from Walmart. I will update my thread with performance opinion after the tow on Monday and possibly Tuesday.
Yeah, unfortunately the Curt Expo wireless cannot be delivered by the time I need it. I saw the reviews, definitely the easiest for an occasional non permanent use type need. Thanks for the feedback.
Hey all, I have seen and read the threads related to adding the MOPAR EBCs in the truck for those of us who did not get it from the factory, but I am looking for a quick fix for an upcoming tow on Monday. I have been researching aftermarket Brake Controllers and I was wondering what some would...
It was 97 degrees on the truck thermo yesterday and had to keep the fan speed at least a five to stay somewhat comfortable with the driver and passenger temp set to low. As of now, I don't own one of those nifty thermometers, so I cannot get actual readings.
Need more advice. I thought all was good after putting all 6 speakers in, but now at around volume 16 to 19 I am getting static in the front door and dash speakers. Is this what people are resolving with switching the pins in the in the Metra harness, or is the mismatched polarity causing a...
My speaker upgrade is complete. I cannot believe the sound quality I am experiencing from these speakers. By far the best money I have spent on my truck to date. It was great that I got them while Crutchfield had them all 25% off.
