Put Stock Takeoffs on my RAM, TPMS not recognized

Thanks guys. I have done one tire swap in the past and put new OEM sensors in and the truck recognized them immediately. When I swapped these wheels on, my truck hasn’t recognized them in over a week of driving. I can’t be 100% certain they have the sensors since I bought them as new...

Put Stock Takeoffs on my RAM, TPMS not recognized

I just swapped some new Rebel takeoffs with TPMS installed onto my Ram. Unfortunately, my truck is not recognizing the sensors. Is there anything I can do to get the sensors to pair, or must I take the truck to the dealer to pay for the sensor pairing?

    Front Skid Plate

I think a lot of us are looking for a skid plate to cover the area between the bumper and lower control arms when the front air dams are removed from the truck. Nobody makes this accessory now, so there’s no competition for you if you do it. Even better if you can make it with some aesthetics so...

New to Paint Correction - Questions

Just an update after 3wks or so: Washed the truck for the first time at 3wks. I was actually looking forward to this moment to see how the coating performed! I have to say after the 3 weeks the truck was still looking pretty good. I’ve noticed less dust collection over time, which was part of...

    LED Headlight Wiring Diagram?

Sorry, I don’t have the answer to that question. I have no experience with anything other than the LEDs on my Laramie.

    Wheel Spacers

I’m running 2” spacers with factory Rebel wheels and tires on a leveling kit. No modification or rubbing. That said, I’d love to go to 34 or 35” tires... which I’m sure is going to cause me some trouble!

What did you do to your Ram today???

Ha! I most certainly have a couple of high spots remaining, most around emblems. I’m not concerned enough to polish the whole panel down to start over. Truck looks ridiculously good right now. Super stoked to see how it holds up now! Thanks for the compliment tho, seriously... after 10hrs, I’m...

What did you do to your Ram today???

I’ll have to get you a new side pic of the truck not in the driveway. One thing I’ve learned on the Bilstein install is each of our trucks have different weight distribution. I have Ramboxes and pano, which collectively must put more weight towards the rear of my particular vehicle. Most others...

What did you do to your Ram today???

I completed the process on my own. It’s definitely not perfect, but I’m pretty well pleased with it. The paint correction process was pretty straight forward, but I could have done a bit better on the coating application. Have a couple small areas of high spots, but probably not at a level...

What did you do to your Ram today???

Pictures simply can’t do justice to how much different this looks in person from where I started. Really satisfying results from ceramic coating. I’m excited to see how it performs and holds up over time now

What did you do to your Ram today???

Did my own paint correction and ceramic coat over the weekend. Never done anything like this before, so I definitely gained an appreciation for why folks pay so much for this process to be professionally done. I’m super happy with the results, but probably have 10hrs+ into it from start to...

New to Paint Correction - Questions

The amount of metallic in this paint is surprising! It’s like it was disguised prior to this process

New to Paint Correction - Questions

Thanks guys. I was able to correct most of the high spots with some elbow grease (which makes me wonder if I wore the coating off in areas, guess I’ll find out) and in some cases reapplying over the regions and removing it. It’s not perfect, but it’s pretty darn good. I’m calling it! I’ll...

New to Paint Correction - Questions

Rolled it out into the sun just now. Paint correction looks really great, but the coating is a bit of a hot mess. Lots of hazing on a few areas. Some of it wiped off alright, but there’s some I can’t seem to get with a microfiber. Open to any tips if you have them. I’m off to YouTube to see...

New to Paint Correction - Questions

Just my luck, it’s set to snow tomorrow am during commute... in KS! From my research, I’ll probably try get another coat on today mid-day. I’m reading it’s best to do that within 60 mins of the first, but I missed that window. Hopefully it goes on well. Thanks for everybody’s help. Truly...

New to Paint Correction - Questions

Well, I’m tapping out for the night. Got one coat on and have about half of the 50ml bottle left. Should I do another coat tomorrow? I also didn’t do any glass, and don’t have a bottle of reload to hit it with afterwards, per the instructions. Truck looks phenomenal. I can go to bed happy!

New to Paint Correction - Questions

Thank you, I appreciate that. I used the wrong terminology. I have a bottle of DP Coating Prep Spray that I’ll try after I get this other side done. So far, so good!

New to Paint Correction - Questions

Ah, one question... I’ve been wiping the remaining polish off with microfiber cloths as I go, but it seems greasy and tough to remove completely. I assume the detail spray will clean it off, but haven’t gotten there yet. Any tips for polish cleanup?

New to Paint Correction - Questions

Finally found a day to get this going. I’m about half way through paint correcting the truck now. Hoping to finish up tonight and ceramic coat it. This is certainly the most OCD thing I’ve ever done, but the results are pretty satisfying. I’m pretty surprised how much it takes to knock the...

    Tailgate Adjusting

I replied to the original thread, but same issue as others have experienced above. Can’t seem to get my rubber bumper to come off. Any suggestions? Is that a screw or a plastic pop rivet?
