No matter the source, it happens whenever the automated vehicle voice wants to inform you of something. This is so the driver can clearly hear the voice instructions and not completely interrupt the music, etc
Yeah it almost need line-of-sight with the satellite (wherever it happens to be at that moment). I've lost mine under trees, under drive-thru overhangs, in garage, etc...

That's exactly what u should do. The 200-300# was a reference to an earlier post; truth is 500-1k isnt noticeable either. The legalities thing...smh. Those of us who have extensive truck ownership dont spend our time calculating payload before every haul. And from experience, when ur paying...
Is that a thing where he lives? I've never once been pulled over and asked about payload. An accident...unless were talking commercial vehicles or hes GROSSLY overweight that wont be a factor.
As far as higher rate springs, add'l air bags,etc not increasing payload; that's debatable depending...
IMO if he buys a truck rated for 1400# and he hauls around 1700#, neither him, nor the truck, nor the world can tell the 300# difference. Not sure why it's such a big deal unless I'm missing something? I've frequently went over my stated payload #'s through the years (2000# just last week)...
