I honestly could not tell what happened in the video. To me, it looked like you hit a bump, then a car part went flying, then a guy in the other lane pulled over and you pulled over behind him. I'm glad the video helped you, though.
The 26 gal option for eTorque motors was not shown for 2021 when "Build(ing) Your Vehicle" on the Ram website. I bought my truck off from dealer inventory and fortunately they had the good sense to select the 26 gal option when ordering. I wasn't sure what I had for a few days until I climbed...
If this had anything to do with fuel octane, why would the OP's truck make the noise only when it is cold outside? Colder ambient temperatures reduce the tendency of a gas engine to detonate. In cases where a particular vehicle is known to exhibit detonation more during the winter vs summer...
"Freight" most likely means the cost of having the vehicle shipped to you, if you desire. Not the cost of freight included in the sticker price for shipping the vehicle from the factory to the dealer. Koons can confirm that.
Nothing wrong with them selling factory orders that the initial purchaser decided not to follow through. They clearly aren't doing this with all of their customer orders otherwise plenty of folks on this forum would be well aware.
I don't think that's what everyone is saying. I think some would have an issue with the $899 fee based on principle even if Koons was giving $10k (or even $20k) off MSRP. For me, I'm looking at the total number. I don't care what the fee is or what they call it and I don't care whether or not...
It's being reported that there was a similar occurrence in 2019 when four (4) Porsche 911 GT2 RS cars were lost. Production on those limited-edition vehicles had ended, but Porsche stepped up and produced replacements. $300k+ each !!!
LOL. I'm not going to pay ~$2900/mo for anything . . . ever.
BTW, I think you made a fine choice of color. I don't think I would've had the guts to choose it myself, but I suspect it will be kind of striking . . . in a good way.
Yep. To me it's a slight shudder. You won't feel it while coasting, but it increases with throttle load. Not much though because the MDS deactivates when there is any significant throttle load.
I see RAM has introduced some new rear end gearsets: .321 and 3:21 (that is, .143). Now those are some seriously tall gears!! Is this RAM's answer to the EV insanity???
