Yes, what t_george said, it pretty much feels like having an engine brake. I like it on ours. It's not bad to get used to it let's you use much less brake pedal to stop I feel like.
Ordered ours through parts when we got our Laramie, they said November 1st before they one be released. So we'll see how close or true that is. My dealer discounted them with truck but I know they offered same as chrome, even though they should be less in my opinion
