CV Angle on leveled air ride Rebel

I’ve tried pretty hard to break my 2019, but it keeps going. Its a similar setup, but a bit more extreme.

    Auto leveling suspension repair question

Just make sure the sensor arm is supported when you’re snapping on and off and you’ll be fine. I’ve popped mine off and on a few dozen times. For calibration, possibly needed. However, you can just get an adjustable length arm like Revel makes and adjust yourself. Or make your own with all...

    35s for stock 2019 rims?

Another thing to keep in mind is “35s” come in many different diameters starting just barely over 34”. Tolerances are tight enough that it will make a difference along with tread pattern.

    35s for stock 2019 rims?

On air suspension trucks, off-road just makes all the settings about an inch higher. You’ll want to do the mod to the front fender well in the sticky threads, or at least know what do do if you have rubbing after installation. Considering you don’t drive in entry/exit, keep the wheels straight...

Anyone Running 37s on a 2019-21 Limited with AirRide with Rough County’s 5” Lift?

Tire size isn’t the only factor- offset is a big component.

Largest tire on stock Rebel wheels

If you aren’t modifying anything, you’re running it. Maybe a small 34 vs your 33. Maybe.

Clearance with air suspension at lowest setting

Entry exit is valid up to a low speed- around 10mph or so. The Grand Cherokees with air have a setting to auto go into EE in park, and they’ll change height when you go into drive. Perhaps that’s made it to the Rams, but it should be a setting, if that’s the case.

    Longtube and legality?

You’ll need a tune in order not throw codes, most likely. The tune will remove the codes. This doesn’t work in Cali but I’m not aware of anywhere else that strict.

Clearance with air suspension at lowest setting

76” to top of fin in a factory Rebel at entry/exit height. I’d expect 74” or so for a limited.

    Rebel on 35's?

1” hubcentric spacers will work. The trim of the front wheel well is very important. And anything over 34” is questionable under the bed.

    Reverse level

If you have air ride, it’s very easy to either make links or buy the revel ones.

    Extra rail cleats

The Teraflex fit really well and clamp down hard. They do not click into the holes like the factory plastic ones, but seem plenty stout.

    Extra rail cleats

Slacker- I was just down the road from you last week in Windsor! Cool, will see how these work when they come in. I always have cans, bags, saws that I like to secure, so the spares will be nice. 2 are in use dedicated for my spare.

    Extra rail cleats

I found this thread while attempting to answer the same question. I could use two more tie points and research points to these working. Lots of crossover with Toyota and Jeep fitment. Anyone using these below? Just ordered the Teraflex Uinta- I’ll see how they work! these say JT Jeep but...

    Question about 37s vs 35s

If anyone ever finds themselves in a little hole-in-the-wall tire shop called discount tire, it can be useful. As settled before, these trucks are great, wear whatever shoes you want.

    Question about 37s vs 35s

plenty of others out there, but this one breaks it down pretty well. https://danthetireman.com/blog/article/tire-terminology:-load-index-and-load-rating main break over is “flotation” tires. So if you have 11.5” wide ridge grapplers, they are D1… same tire 12.5” wide is E2. Both 65psi tires.

    Question about 37s vs 35s

Completely agree, these trucks are great with big tires! One interesting point on load rating: the break over between E2 and D1 happens between 11.5” and 12.5” width. E2 and D1 are both 65psi max tires, just the E2 is wider.

    Question about 37s vs 35s

Considering it’s a Rebel with 3.92s, 37s are absolutely fine. Lower numerical gears will be fine as well, as long as people keep the expectations reasonable. To shave a little weight, you can run the 11.5” wide ridge grapplers if you want. My truck mostly goes to the Texas Hill Country, which...

    Rotating the tires

Rearward cross every 3-5k- longer on milder tread. You’ll want access to an air compressor since the fronts run 10psi higher than the rears. When you put on the spacers, make sure to follow the instructions and retorque after X miles depending on material.

Front mud flaps with larger tires

My huskies are heavily modified/trimmed, but work great. Basically installed them then cut anything that touched.
