I read a ton of reviews when researching the tires and most all folks said they handled poorly in heavy rain (like we get here in FL) and that you need to be prepared for fishtailing too. I also called Nitto and spoke to their tech support. I was told something very similar. As long as you are...
I 100% agree. However, I passed on them because they are HORRIBLE on wet roads I don't off road much anyway. Having good wet traction on city roads and highways was FAR more important to me than looks. Safety should always be your #1 priority and not how good something looks on a truck. Just my...
I totally agree. Each dash cam manufacturer will handle the files on the SD card differently, but they shouldn't differ too much from your experience above. Most all dash cams also install their OS onto the SD card at each reformat as well as when performing a software update to the camera.
You still don't get it...but I have read further down this thread and see that you're still arguing with people. There are several SD cards specifically made for high speed read/write devices like dash cams and cameras. In order to maintain the SD cards integrity, they should be formatted...
I bought my brother a Vantrue N2 since he drives for Lyft. It was the only one, at the time, that had a camera facing the road and another recording the occupants in his car. I was very impressed by it and he's been using it now for over 2 years without issue...
And you format it every month...correct? f not, you should start doing it monthly as I stated above. I use these for all of the dash cams I install and never an issue. Typically, you can get them for around $35...
YES...every month. Based on the intense loop writing to the SD card by dash cams, most all dash cam manufacturers ask that you reformat your card monthly. Contrary to what you may believe you know, for dash cams, and other heavy data writing devices, a monthly format should be done and it will...
Awesome to hear! You should always reformat your card once a month, regardless of dash cam make or model, to extend the life of the card. I have cards going on 3+ years with no issue if you take care of them. Yes, Blackvue does store parameters on the card. Happy to help!
The last time I saw what you are describing it was an SD card issue. Once reformatted, the problem was solved. Let me know...here to help you my friend!
You clearly have an issue that may have a simple resolution. PM me and I'll give you my cell so I can get more details and try to help you. These cameras are bullet proof and it's either user error or potentially a bad camera. I'll look forward to your PM and connecting with you soon.
Again...buy what you like and can afford. Nothing wrong with a VIOFO camera...they are very good for what they are. I strongly suggest folks stay away from most all other Amazon sold cameras and most are just junk. My suggestion to others is to spend the money, at a minimum, for a VIOFO, or look...
