Just got this on Monday. Turned in my 2020 Red Night Edition.
Already hard wired my radar detector. Having the tires swapped tomorrow for some BFGoodrich K02
Planning on tint the next week.
Once the new brackets come in, ill be putting my OPT7 Lightbar back on the rear.
Paint adhesion will fail in no time. Theres no real way to prep the textured plastic to where primer or paint will properly 100% adhere. Also, once you start applying a coat of primer, you start to lose the texture. More so when you add a color and clear coat. Ive see it attempted, but in the...
There are actually 4 part numbers on the dealers end for said part
68293107AI - Black Texture
68443433AD - Black texture as well, but with sales code MF4
6BT13SZ0AJ - Chrome
6BT18TZZAJ - Unpainted
There def isnt a part number for the grille, not even on the supplier side. You would need a whole panel. Donor panel would work. You can get with a independent collsion shop and see if they can get you a used one cheaper. LKQ is also a good option.
There is no grommet for this location. There should only be a clip that holds the harness in place.
I pulled the factory build instructions, does not list a grommet
So I looked it up, for OEM part from FCA, you cannot get the individual push pin. It appears the supplier doesn't even list the pin as an available part.
With that said, you can do like Mike did and order a similar push pin from else where. Or find one that fits the hole. It technically...
The reason I asked is because the seat should never come in contact with the glass or the cable, or even the track. If the seat is putting pressure on any part of the glass or window track, there is another issue there. Size of the person shouldn't matter in this case.
Not outside, but the plant is old, and large, and dirt control is limited. They don't have the time to fix every paint defect. While expensive, these are not typically $100k+ trucks and they are massed produced. Ive been on the repairing end, the factory end and the corporate end of paint and...
Yes, due to tension in the cable, its likely it will move somewhat. The noise is considered "normal" Mine makes a single click noise. I know it was a design issue in the 4th Gens.
That would work with a light bar that is flexible. That wont work with a solid/straight light bar as the points of contact between the velcro and the bed would be extremely minimal.
That is, unless they modified the rear panel, which I believe is also possible.
Paint defects are typical from any manufacturer. This would/should technically be covered.
They do, more then anyone on here knows. Even more then dealers know, lol. With that said, DS(4th Gen) Rams had the worst of the worst defects
Yes. Paint and surface rust should be 3/36, or whatever...
