Former Ford guy ('83 Mustang -- 112hp stock!, '85 F-150, '03 F-150, '06 Ranger, '07 Ranger) who drove everything in 2015 when wanting to see what the rest of the world looked like. They all seemed close but the Ram had enough at the time to hook me. I put 112k miles on that truck, half of it...
I've had a mix of spray-in liners and the MOPAR bed mat in various trucks. Currently I have a spray-in liner with my old bed mat over the top. I like that things don't slide around on the mat, which would be similar to a bed rug. However, I got boating and camping a lot. Gas cans, oil, grease...
My 2015 occasionally threw a code (check engine light) but only when I would tow. The code was for a misfire on Cylinder #5. Eventually I learned that this was an early warning to the cam & lifter failure. My shop originally replaced the #5 plugs, cap, and wires but eventually realized it was...
I am not an engine expert, so don't take this as argumentative. However, don't you think Ram would advise owners to use 91/93 when towing if they felt that would extend the life of their product? I thought that to properly utilize higher octane fuels, the engine needed to be tuned for a higher...
I run 89 most of the time because I seem to be towing most weekends, or even tonight when I'm going fishing on the Mississippi with friends.
Like you said, pontoons are like pulling a sail and cause a lot of wind drag. It's not the weight at the wheel at that point but the additional power...
Any business that has dishonest people working for them is a problem. Sorry to hear about you having this problem, but it sounds like you are handling it well. Best of luck.
BTW - the time for phone calls is gone. I would drive there (even if it's hours away) and look the guy in the eye, tell...
My only suggestion was going to be the tongue weight, but you seem to have ruled that out.
All that I will say is that my 2021 Ram tows my boat and snowmobiles really well. I easily one-hand it with zero darting. Something is definitely off. Seeing as that you have now tow two different...
Extra credit question: Name the 1990s sitcom where one of the main characters competed against an Andrea Doria survivor to win the pity of a tenant association so he can get a new apartment.
Same thing. I did a 700mile road trip to Milwaukee and started hearing it on the drive back with A/C on. I was able to kill the noise immediately by turning off the A/C, so I can 100% say that it has something to do with A/C. My 2021 Bighorn truck does not have air suspension.
I drove 700 miles round trip from Minneapolis to Milwaukee and back. I drove about 80mph with traffic on the first leg (was running late) but then 75mph on the way back. My EVIC showed 19.2 mpg, with a stock truck except for Falcon Wildpeak A/T3W tires. I just crossed 7,000miles on the odometer...
Utilizing Crutchfield's awesome exchange policy, I had them send me the Infinity Reference 9633ix speakers that I originally wanted. They have gotten good reviews from other Ram owners on this forum. Below are some pictures of the old and new speakers. The magnets are a full inch bigger than the...
It's been in the mid-to-upper 90s in Minnesota for the past week. I'm not impressed with the A/C. I blow all of the hot air out driving, then close the windows and it still takes a good 10 minutes to cool down. It never feels cold but just cool. I'll have to keep experimenting.
I actually liked the silver Night Edition slightly better but this had pretty much all of the features that I wanted and was on the lot at the dealer willing to give me the best deal.
They are sharp trucks no matter what paint color.
