I suggest that you get Nav at a minimum. Reason being it has the telematics and allows control of locks and remote start if you have that from an app on your phone. You can’t add the telematics after easily at least.
The 12” is awesome to me. I haven’t had any issues and those that have I...
Problem is they had a no nav with Telematic and for some reason the ram in 2019 they decided no telematics unless nav . Pretty stupid in 2019 to not have it as standard across trims. It’s not as if it adds an extreme amount to the cost of the truck especially at the price the trucks are at...
I had to recenter the steering wheel myself at home after the dealer replaced my rack. They tried 4 times and had their best do mine and it was always off.
How I centered mine was I made marks on the tie rod where it is now. Then counted one quarter turn on each side to see where that put me...
Ive had the delay also. I have kids so it seems to happen when they get in just as the board is retracting and then they open the door it gets caught in the middle and goes back to deployed. Then it seems to stay deployed until I star driving for a bit.
I just CA glued the tweeter grill on the back of the panel. Fixed that problem. I used the fabric test tape to solve the sliding window rattle. I built up a few ;ayers and stuck it on the window cut it flush and you can't see it. worked great rattle is gone..
Also in regards to you poor...
I looked at the harnesses for the two an they are very different unfortunately.. So a lot would be involved with getting factory LED assemblies to work. There are LED drivers circuits coming from the BCM. those are not there int the Halogen trucks. Maybe eventually there maybe a aftermarket...
20.16 update really nails down a lot of the little bugs. I haven't had many issues with the system. I did get the update and I can se that it is better. I am still waiting for an update to enable the info tab on the Uconnect/Guardian app.
If you hold down the lower left and right corner...
I’ve heard a lot about ticking coyotes. I have to say that the dealer I dealt with and service adviser were great to deal with. Took a while to get it back but it got back to me fixed.
End of the day I’m enjoying the truck again and if this is the list of issues than I think I’m good. I...
80 ft pounds. I went to 90 and never had another clunk. If the clunk is there though and the part numbers are the old numbers then I would get them replaced at the dealer and let them handle it. The newer ones make a nice difference.
Look at the part number on the isolator. if it ends in AA then you have the old part. I could see where they may have gotten some of the build dates wrong. The part #is molded into the isolator ...
I bought my truck new in July. Has a 6/18 build date. It is a Limited Crystal Black Clear coat 4WD 22" Wheels Black interior and air ride. I did not originally plan to buy a 19 RAM because I was scared of new gen issues. It was tough to resist once I went and saw one while getting my 13...
I had a couple of rattles. I had two sound similar to what you described.
One was the rear sliding window
The other was a loose tweeter grill on the front door. If you have the HK system try to see if the front tweeter grill moves. If it does that’s the rattle it’s annoying
Wow. Would love to have you make a post about your feelings of the differences, pluses and minuses. I know they are not apples to apples but still would make for a good write up
If you haven’t had the amp update done then you’re missing out. Makes a significant difference in the sound quality. I was very disappointed in my HK system took it in for other service had the update done and like a new stereo
I too have been a loyal ford owner. I saw the new rams and just had to have one. Only advice I can give is make sure to get a later build date and go over the truck with a fine tooth comb. Check the carpet for wet spots check the rear wall of the truck if it has the pano room to make sure the...
I think if you have cloth seats the heat just is not as absorbed as it is in a leather seat. I drove a loaner big horn with cloth and heated seats and it was warmer than my limited. Material thickness I think affects that. My steering wheel gets nice and toasty near the bottom for sure...
