The upper or lower glovebox? I changed to led on the lower. It was a pain to get out, but didn’t have to remove anything to get to it. Well, until I launched the bulb somewhere behind my glove box. I recommend putting some tape on the bulb so when you do dislodge it, it doesn’t go flying like...
Finally had another chance to play with the base rails again and I was able to get them parallel.
My problem was the stick on shims that I placed onto the base rail. They were snuggled up too close to the expansion block and wasn’t allowing the block to slide in the direction I needed it to...
With the front rails pulled outward as far as they will go and the rear of the rails pushed inward as far as they would go, I was able to get the rails within a 1/2 inch difference. Not exactly parallel, but hopefully close enough. I will have to wait until I pick up the ladder racks themselves...
I just cut out all but a 1/2 of an inch of the vertical plastic. The rails are converging towards the cab. I’m wondering if I have to cut out more in order to get the rails parallel.
The front stake pockets were a piece of cake. I used a utility blade to cut out the pockets and then used a...
I had this same issue. I can’t remember exactly what I did to solve, but I will have to take a look at it after work. I believe that I turned it back to auto and off again. That or I had to adjust the one setting it would allow me to (day or night brightness). After messing around with it a bit...
While attempting to swap out the interior bulbs for LEDs, I ending up launching the OEM glove box bulb somewhere behind the glove box and am trying to retrieve it. Has anyone been able to remove the glove box? Thanks in advance
I'm looking to add a utility rack to my 5' 7" bed. I have a Bakflip x4, so I would need something that utilizes the pockets on top of the bed rails. I'm considering an ADARAC, but also considering other options. Just curious what you guys are using/ have seen out there.
I have noticed my battery gauge drop while the stop/start is active at a light, but usually it doesn’t drop very far. As soon as I’m moving again the battery gauge moves to its original position. I have never had it fail on me though. I think I might have to do a little etorque torture testing...
I too am looking for a utility rack to mount my 13 foot kayak. That much sticking out of the bed is not practical or safe ( trust me I’ve tried it :ROFLMAO:). im Looking for something I can mount temporarily for kayak hauling, then remove. I have a Bakflip X4 and would need something that will...
It’s the Revolver X4. It rolls up on top of the bed rails. We are getting some rain right now. I’ll check here shortly. I did notice a big gap between the tailgate and the bed. Not sure how waterproof any tonneau will be with that much of a gap
I only noticed it on the outside and not on interior. I read somewhere on the forum that it was the belt for the etorque. The odor went away after 500 miles or so for me
Installed a Bakflip X4 today. I was on the fence with it considering the comments about it I’ve seen on this forum, but overall I’m happy with it so far. I needed something that would allow me to put a motorcycle in the bed and wanted something that would allow me to see out the back window. It...
I am unsure of the quality of the regular stereo, but I am very happy with my Alpine setup. my previous truck (GMC Canyon) had the upgraded Bose speakers and I think the Alpine is just as good if not better. Hope this helps
Made it into a parking garage with 6’6” clearance in E/E height with no problem. I’ll admit the pucker factor was real, but had about 2” to spare on low hanging structure.
