Welcome and Congratulations! The black appearance package is likely what is called “Night Edition”. My 2021 has it. I LOVE It. There absolutely nothing wrong with crome, but I prefer the look of the black. Looks a bit more sporty.

The Electric Parking Brake on my RAM automatically releases when I have the engine running, foot on the brake, the D/S seat belt buckled and shift into Reverse or Drive.

Yes. In the settings in the UConnect you can set them so they stay retracted.

Is it ECO mode and around 1,800 RPM’s? If so, yes it seems to be common. Mine does it too. It’s like a right foot massager. Lol

So far it is wonderful. (Knock on wood) Only had it a couple months and put just over 2,200 miles on it. I’m loving every bit of it. Interior, ride, nothing can compete.

I tried mine today for the first time. (Not a big user of that feature to begin with) I will say though that it performed well. Very similar to the last two Fords I have that had that feature.
