The outlets spills have no issue charging iPads so definitely get that checked out. However, it’s probably worth investing in a couple of USB-C to Lightning cords. This should likely charge at least as fast as the 12w iPad blocks from Apple in your house.
I'd leave traction control on all the time unless you're intentionally trying to spin your tires. Use 4Auto for added safety anytime the road is not dry (e.g. raining, snowing, slick spots, etc.). 4Hi is for when you're on consistently slippery surfaces like offroading, fully snow covered roads...
Same bolt pattern, but I believe most of the OEM chevy wheels have a slightly higher positive offset (sits further in the wheel) than the OEM Ram wheels.
Don't have any experience with the Falkens, but if you live somewhere with a lot of snow it's definitely worth looking into real winter/snow tires. They truly are a step above any all-terrain. However, the retail Wildpeak A/T3W have the 3 peak mountain snowflake symbol and have decent sized...
Please post pictures when you get the new tires installed. Considering the same size and trying to decide whether I want to just do 2" level or add ORP springs for a 1" lift in the rear and level to that.
There are tons of options in the a 275/60r20 (~33") size that are not LT load range E. Nitto Terra Grappler G2 in 275/65r20 is the only ~34" all-terrain I know of. There are obviously some other options if you go with wider tires, but I haven't investigated them. Presumably the wider tire would...
Thanks for the explanation, and everything you said is in line with my understanding. However I should have clarified better what I was asking. I’m looking to leave the rear stock height, but lift the front up to near level ~2” to improve the look and fit 275/65r20 (34”) tires. So I was...
Likely going to go with the 5100's to level a non-ORG Laramie. My question is what the pros and cons would be of doing this by pairing with new ORG springs vs. sticking with the stock springs? I;m trying to make sure I understand spring rates, suspension travel, etc. Unlikely to ever be doing...
Have you noticed any difference in ride quality with the ORP springs only in the front? Haven't been able to find an answer about if they have stiffer spring rates or not.
I know this is an old thread, but may help others doing research. This link is a great tool that allows you to input axle ratio, transmission ratio, tire size, and speed and it outputs an engine RPM. Really useful as I've been looking at the effect of tire sizes and 3.21 vs 3.93 gear ratios on...
