Could be? I usually put it in the lowest position when I pull in the garage. I did hear it "blow off" the other day too, been a minute since I heard that noise. But it certainly sounds more like a grind, does the air suspension making a grinding noise?
My 21 Night Edition Limited has the factory 22 inch blackish wheels on it. It also has the factory tires, so at 11K on the clock I'd imagine they'll be in need of replacement soon.
I figured buying some 20 inch aftermarket wheels wouldn't be a horrible idea. I'd get more sidewall, which would...
Twice in the last week I've pulled in the garage and turned the truck off as per usual. I heard a grinding noise - not horrific - that lasted about three to five seconds.
The first time I thought it was the running boards, but as I type this I don't know what made me think they were deploying...
That is a good point, although it looks really nice when you go lower for some people to low might be a distraction. On my Z it is pretty low, and I do find myself crouching and wishing it was a little higher at times. I would imagine that it is very individual regarding what works for each person
not the best pictures, but I have done it on every car that Ive has. I just ask them to “go a little lower than the ANSI line and just their best judgment“. IIRC The placement of the toll tag and the mirror housing played a factor in where it ended up. Highbrow defines a vehicle in my opinion...
I added night edition only because I didn’t want the chrome.
Selected limited because of the chip shortage-I wanted advanced safety group and I could not get it on the Laramie
Finally did the truck yesterday. Including washing it with lots of road tar, clay, and ceramic it was only three hours. Might try to do a second coat on Sunday.
i was disappointed to discover two paint flaws - some overspray and some dust in the paint.
We’ll see how it holds up. Certainly...
This is the one, and I did like it. It was very quick and easy to use, I imagine if I had done it while I was washing the car it would’ve been even quicker. I don’t know if it is as good as traditional clay, the surface was smooth after I used it so I assume it does the job. Significantly...
Thanks man. Wanted one since the early 90s TT 300Z, when they came out with the 350 (and eventually the 370) I had to have one. Basically took me almost 30 years to get it, and the poor thing never gets used!
Used it on my Z over the weekend, will do my truck soon. Also used a Griots synthetic clay bar. Entire process only took about 90 minutes (car was already washed), but to be fair the car is the size of a wheelbarrow
As suggested- would a cargo bar work?
I bought one similar to this, which I would not recommend. I think a ratcheting one would be much easier to lock in place

Been pretty good. Hasn’t seen much rain, so I can’t comment on water ingress. Only complaint is the lack of quick release- I use my full bed a lot and you lose about 18 inches when it is fully rolled up. If you don’t have MFT the quick release will solve for that.
I went to three local dealers because my truck was purchased at MD
1) very opportunistic experience overall, said that loaners were only for customers who had purchased from them
2) more opportunistic
3) a class act
so, I’d say that your experience will vary and would not base it on where...
No, banks usually fund them once or twice a day. Some of it is on the receiving end as well if I understand correctly. Sending banks have cut off times as well. In my experience if you make the deadline it is within a few hours and on the same business day.
disclaimer: I’m not a banker, but...
Tell us more about these tire coupons! I did not join because I already had affiliate pricing through work, but I am due for tires on a couple of cars and I’m happy to spend $100 if it is worth it
