Agreed, would like to avoid paint as well - especially with a metallic which is hard to match. I did notice a small chip, some touch up will be required. In any case , called a PDR place today but did not get a return call

Encouraging for sure, just because full on body shop is a PITA. must have been a cart for both of us, as it was the same height. Safe to assume it’s in the $500 range? Just a truck, life will go on, and we are fortunate to have this. Still frustrating

That’s exactly what I did. I can’t say enough good things about Kuat racks. Their customer service is incredible. It took me about a year to find a Pivot in stock, but that was a game changer because as you can see I can access my cooler on the left.

The only thing I would caution you with those is that you may not be able to open your tailgate. I have not used one of those many years, but with my bike rack I cannot open the tailgate using either function. It was a major inconvenience, so I ended up buying a swing away
