Just left dealer; be advised, if having rear sliding defroster window replaced, make sure your defroster wires are attached and defrost function is working. Rubbing some snow or ice cube should produce enough cold moisture to see horizontal lines working.

Update: Rear window defroster/defogger doesn't work now. Going to dealer tomorrow-hoping it is something simple while doing the rear window replacement.

I had mine done ~18 Nov and over 1,000 miles ago (see my threads earlier on the topic). I drove through ~6 hours of rain just yesterday.
I inspected it this morning and witnessed no visible cracks (as the original had) and no visible leaks (even felt the headliner for dampness).
Keep in mind...
Mountain, TDY there a few times, otherwise I was at Tyndall. Initial impression is everything looks good. My guess is they will contract it out.

Looked just as it did before. I'm sure if you had aftermarket tinting done, they should do it again free if charge. If not, call RamCares and insist on it. They reimbursed me for a "questionable" R&R for front plastic filler piece-a couple clips were broke, and dealer wasn't going to warranty...
Not 100% positive. The tint looks the same to me. Do they even offer the option from the factory? Part number is 68426398ac, looks like -001 added which doesn't result anything with Googling -001 with the primary.

Got truck back from dealer tonight. Dropped off 8 Nov. Replaced entire rear window. Window shipped from vendor and received in less than 5 days. Local shop contracted by dealer did the install. You can faintly see the mold marks, even on new window. Snapped a pic of label from new window box and...
I was pretty upset when I saw water leaking through those cracks. I hope a total window replacement fixes that. It would make more sense for those frames to be made of aluminum, but we know how that goes...

Twister, Mark, from RamCares, was replying to me. You can access the PM feature, search "ramcares" and then send them a private message. You have to initiate the PM...

Mark, I PMd Ramcares last night. I hope the backorder on rear sliding windows is not as long as Twister is indicating. That is unacceptable, since vehicles are coming off the line each day with new sliding windows.

Mine is going to selling dealer this Friday. I asked the service advisor if they had seen any trucks with this issue, they said they hadn't. Will keep this thread updated as issue progresses. My build date is 8/18, so I am seeing a very small trend with us responding to this thread.

Geotex1, any idea on the TSB? I don't see it anywhere on the listed TSBs. Unfortunately, after almost a year and 12k, I have the dreaded issue of cracked frame and water intrusion.

Have a 19 CC Laramie Sport, took delivery November last year, 8k on odometer. Got in truck today, and I'll be darned: no sound coming from unit. Voice commands operated, stations switched no problem, screen functioned as designed, bluetooth and android auto all worked-just no sound. Yes, I...
