While the battery has high cranking amps, the capacity isn't unlimited. The battery should not be drawn lower than 12.4v (80% of battery max) for the health and longevity of the battery so you don't deep cycle it. Temperature also impacts the amount you can draw. Hot battery full unloaded...
******* SEE POST 16 for my latest update - Redid it with Redarc DC-DC charger and tossed the ML-ACR *******
Has anyone done this yet?
I am planning on adding a AGM Deep Cycle AUX battery to run my dashcam / LED addons / custom mods. (In order to get the 2nd battery to fit, I will be...
I'll be upgrading my old cig adapter powered A119 dashcam to the duo A129 which I'll hardwire. I am still waiting for my add-a-fuse taps.
For those that installed with the HK3 ACC hardwire kit, where did you connect the ground near the fusebox? Have a pic?
Crazy pricing on that. I'll have to look into using regular ws2812b LEDs (weather strip insulated) in a custom box. Shouldn't be more than a $25 build. Hell, w/ a little $10 arduino I could sequence the lights to show a color changing pattern.
Does your rear bull bar set off your rear brake assist?
I put on a trailer hitch step, and it forces park assist disabled or beeps like made. It isnt even that wide.
Washed the truck today. I did a spray off at a place with high pressure wands but that barely got the salt off. Still a of salt and road gunk left.
Spent a few hours hand washing with the 2 cloth method and Meguiar's Ultimate Waterless Wash & Wax
First time using that stuff. It did an...
For my cab reverse, I used these:

Yeah, easy to install.
Only change I would have made to it's design is a flip-up handle on the top if I ever wanted to carry it around, since it can lift up and off. I may end up 3d printing a handle, and bolting it on (+ sealing w/ silicon)
Installed an Undercover Swing Case, filled with tools/tow ropes/brackets/emergency flashers/etc.
Installed reverse/break LEDs on cab.
Installed visor LEDs
Silicon sealed sides of Opt7 Triple light bar where the wire goes in, just in case. I didn't really trust it's factory seal.
Still waiting...
Nice. I have the Rhino USA Hitch Shackle and Tow cable for 'just in case' moments like these. Probably would have the same reaction if I got the chance to use it.
Once the weather clears up, I'll be installing my lightbar. I received the RED version. Checked laws and rear turn signals in PA (and federal law) says they can be red.
Anyone else go with Red? On the fence if I should return for the amber signals due to safety studies. The directional...
Yeah, I had quite a few of those.
There were many dealerships that replied back with simple template replies. Others that wouldn't give me discounted price on a first reply. All those lost out on a sale, and I bet there are backend offers on the table to hit a higher sales mark on volume...
Hello from the Philly burbs.
Long ago, I put my name into the Tesla Model 3 queue. I put a ton of miles on my car a year, I wanted a nice screen, lots of features, and smooth drivability. Fast forward to time to buy it, I nope'd out of that idea. I wanted something beefier, and Model 3s left...
