I've noticed that remote starting the truck seems to HEAVILY affect the gas mileage. This thing must run super rich at idle or something. Seems to have a worse effect than my Silverado did, which is unfortunate living in ND. Tend to use the remote start quite a bit for about 6mo of the year.
Anyone else have this issue. I bought my truck a month ago, and just noticed that the inside of the lens is accumulating moisture, which means they aren't sealed very well. I would think this would be a warranty issue? I have a Laramie with the LED lighting group.
I would be surprised if the OEM boards aren't AMP Research. They have been around forever, and were the first to develop them I believe. From the handful I've seen installed, the AMP boards have been solid.
Edit: Looks like they are made by AMP...
Does anyone know if there is a tongue weight limit for the auto leveling to where it won't fill the bags to level itself? I thought I had read somewhere that someone put a bunch of stuff in his box and it wouldn't level and gave a message about too much weight, but I can't seem to find it now...
Yes, they are fast charging ports. The usb-a ports are normal charging speeds. The fast charging really helps when using android auto. The cables are all over amazon. Just make sure you get one rated for 3.1 as they're typically more reliable to negotiate fast charging than usb 2.0 cables.
Husky liners ftw. I have the weatherbeater ones now, the fit is perfect but I'm not a big fan of the harder plastic style. I had the X-Act ones in my Silverado, those were the softer rubber type. Husky said they're coming out with the x-act for the 2019's, and I'll be buying those when...
I hope you can get this worked out, I'd love to have the power fold tow mirrors. Now, if they would have offered the tow mirrors paint matched....but if I can get power folding, I'll have mine painted before I put them on, then all will be good. Really impressed about everything else on the truck!
Both mine tilt also. I had the passenger side one get stuck in the titled down position once, I just moved it with the power mirror switch and it started working again. Haven't had an issue with them since then. I do wish there was a shortcut button to turn them on and off somewhere other...
I think it had 27mi on it when I bought it. I asked about their pricing too, they just said they're a volume dealer and try to move as many vehicles per month as possible. Truck also came with a lifetime powertrain warranty, but I did have to sit and listen to a 45min sales pitch about buying...
So, I guess that did include my trade in, but my equity was only about $500 so I guess just over $45,000. I did qualify for the trade in $1000 rebate and the $1000 USAA rebate. I believe before those it was like $47,3xx. The dealer was in Forest Lake, MN
I can't figure out why Ram didn't offer power folding tow mirrors when they obviously made the same mirrors power folding in the 2018's. I'm already sick of getting out to fold in my mirrors for going through the wash.
