Anyone else have this issue. I bought my truck a month ago, and just noticed that the inside of the lens is accumulating moisture, which means they aren't sealed very well. I would think this would be a warranty issue? I have a Laramie with the LED lighting group.

Haven't had an issue with mine as of yet, but I would definitely be having the dealer replace them. When these things go out after warranty, they are going to be expensive to replace.

Something like this? All this is on the inside. Both are the same. D4ED9DCF-E0F8-45AB-8DC9-32A47854A0F9.jpeg

Yeah, mine looks like that but not quite that bad. Have you brought it in yet?

I also have condensation inside the headlight, haven’t done anything about it yet... getting used to my truck and collecting my write-ups for my first warranty visit.

Have the dealer replace them under warranty. They should be sealed from the factory in a humidity controlled room so that no moisture is in the unit preventing condensation from ever being an issue. One of 2 things happened air got trapped inside when it was built that had too high moisture content or a bad seal. You likely have a bad seal. I wouldn't accept anything other than a warranty replacement.

Mine are doing the same. Both headlights have moisture inside them. The right one is pretty bad. Gonna contact my local dealer

Bighorn with LED lights also showed moisture near the bottom. Happened after car wash. Haven’t noticed again. Maybe was a weird temp difference thing ?

Same, less than a week old, in fact less than a day old, as it rained the day after I brought it home.

Temps have been 30 to 40 in the DC area with rains.

Took mine by dealer and they ordered me two new headlights, no questions asked. But both had condensation along the bottoms. AD63DA0A-FB20-41E2-85F9-91521DA45075.jpeg

Check to see if they bent one of the pins in the plug when they were reinstalling it. It's in a tight spot but not to bad to get at.

I have moderate to severe condensation building up inside the headlamp “in my eyes, which is enough”. After it is drying it is now leaving water spots and Haze inside the Lamp.

Truck has 1000 miles on it

Dealership sent me a bulletin that says this is normal. There is no way this is supposed to be normal on a $68,000 truck. My concern issue with them is two things: 1. Appearance of water spots and haze, looks like **** and should’ve ever have to accept that 2. Water and electric do not mix. If bulb blows, I’m the one who’s out

Any thoughts on how to combat with dealership and corporate? I will not accept this as the norm for such an expensive truck. I have a feeling this is going to get interesting!! Also have Ceramic Pro Platinum lifetime package plus 3m ppe. Already saying they aren’t going to pay for putting back on even if they did replace.

I'm starting to see this in mine too with less than 200 miles on it...

I did notice this thread with the response from RAM Cares:

FWIW, I'm going to get them involved before I even bother calling the dealer to get resolution.

Yup! Bought my 2019 Ram Sport Rebel two days ago. It's been very cold here -13 degrees Celsius. But no need for this being only 2 days off the lot. IMG_20181213_1814336.jpg

Agreed. I called the dealership and they said it was "normal" and it would go away. Why would this be normal? Aren't they sealed?
