I'm getting the roughly the same mpg as the OP. Taken the truck in several times and they always say everything checks out ok.
At this point, I'm just waiting for someone to file a class-action lawsuit against RAM for grossly misrepresenting the EPA numbers.
Over the last few weeks I've noticed the volume of the radio gradually getting lower after driving. It'll start off at a moderate volume level but then after listen for a while (15+ minutes) it'll start to go lower. You have to go about half way up on the volume to even get it to a normal...
I wanted to see if I can get some advice on a 5th wheel hitch.
I have a Rebel with the ORP that has a max trailer weight of 11,330 lbs. I have yet to purchase a 5th wheel trailer as I'm in the research phase right now.
In regards to the hitch I see some Mopar ones. Are there any advantages to...
I have a dirt bike that I'll put on my hitch mount rack and it definitely sways no matter how well it is cinched down. I can't imagine ever putting a heavier bike on one.
I'm at 8,600 miles and my lifetime is 12 mpg (Rebel 3.92). Incidentally, it was at 12.2 after the first 1,000 miles. So the whole notation about the engine needing to break-in is BS!
I have one there too, albeit my fault for letting the door tap a car's sideview mirror. I don't know if it's my imagination, but the metal seems thinner/flimsier than my '04 Ram. Nonetheless, my auto detailer was able to get some of the ding out. I'd say it's about 50% better but still...
IMO just replace the dash speakers with any quality speaker. It’ll be the best bang for your buck you can spend and you’ll probably be happy with that one simple mod.
Any noticeable difference in the sound quality streaming from your phone verses the on-board Sirius? My initial subscription ended a couple weeks ago and I'm undecided if I want to renew.
Obviously it depends on which truck you purchase and your driving habits. After 8,000 miles my Rebel with 3.92 diff gets 12 mpg city and 15 mpg highway.
After 8,000 miles I got the best mileage yet during a 1,200 mile road trip.. 14.7 mpg based on hand calculation. I was driving 70-80 mph most of the time.
