I live in Phoenix, AZ and run the AC 99.99999% of the time. The stop/start feature DOES work with the AC on. If I'm at a really long light sometimes it starts the vehicle while we are stopped. However, this is pretty rare.
I just put the velcro directly on the metal, just below the plastic tailgate cover. It is holding really well and lays nice and flat. They are sending me the correct J-Clip, but I don't think I'm going to use it.
Same thing happened to me when I got my windshield tinted. They had to keep it over night to let it dry out. Every time they tried to start it the horn would constantly ring. All was fine the next morning.
I love my Bedrug. Makes crawling around in the bed of the truck easy on your knees. Also, when you are carrying something that you don't want to get scratched, you can lay it down in the bed of the truck with no issues. Plus Bedrugs stand up to and clean up easily from grease, oil, dirt...
I do like it. When I took my truck in for the clear bra they couldn't believe how much the water beaded up. They asked me if I had a ceramic coating on it. I applied it with my Flex 3401, so that may have had something to do with it.

Since I purchased my truck a few weeks ago, I've done the following:
Complete interior and exterior detail
Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0
Bedrug Classic
Truxedo Pro x15 bed cover
Clear Bra
FormulaOne Pinnacle Series window tint on all windows (even factory tinted windows)
Llumar AIR80...
Sure, here ya go.
I hadn't put the tailgate cover down with the velcro yet, but have since so that edge at the tailgate is straight now and you don't see any of the metal.
Mine fit perfectly. It's good and snug. I washed my truck yesterday and didn't get any water in the bed (I even hosed off the cover and around all the edges just to see).
Not "today", but over the past week: debadged it, detailed it, polished and sealed the paint, installed a Bedrug and a Truxedo Pro X15 Tonneau cover.
Monday she goes in for a clear bra and ceramic window tint (all windows).
I have a Laramie with the reclining rear seats. The drivers side rear seat reclines fine. However, the passenger side will not recline. I pull the handle up and it starts to slide forward, but it's like something is in the way (or not disengaging) to let the seat move forward.
I thought I’d...
No perforations, but it is pretty dang easy. I have a dental pick tool that I used to identify where I needed to cut, then used a utility knife. Easy peasy.
