Here's one for you. After I met another forum member this morning at a dealership, I was flagged down on my way out or the lot. Fellas asked about my Lomax so I showed them. Turns out father and son and were dropping Dad's new 5th Gen to try to have the Mopar cover (Truck Hero, i.e. Bakflip)...
Saying he may have wanted ORG but that the order may have not have been and was pieced together since his build sheet doesn't have the RRH. The North can have the 1" taken out and still be a North. The ORG is to always have the 1". At least this is how it was when I considered ordering in...
If the Raised Ride Height is not on the build sheet, the truck did not get the 1". For instance, there is the North package that had nearly all of the off-road but not extra 1". There were also a couple of regional sales packages that had everything but the lift and a different wheel/tire...
Thanks all! We played with it a bit more and we could hear and feel a distinct "clunk" in the driver side motor compared to the passenger. Right at the clunk, the step stops leaving it almost parallel to the ground, instead of angled with the rocker, such that a golf ball can fit between the...
If you checked your VIN in the link above and it says Raised Ride Height in the optional equipment section, should be on the truck. Are you measuring comparatively with these other trucks? You can't measure bumper height or anything unless on the same level surface. You have to measure center...
Folks,
I'm in the midst of helping a coworker install the Mopar power steps on his 5th Gen, and something just seems off about the way the driver's side is folding. Backstory, we actually installed all the electrical last weekend and he got the sales code flashed today. Yeah, backwards maybe...
@JaredB:
Using the search function returns plenty of links match the search parameters. However, more than half the links are dead! Is this an indexing matter since the migration that will get corrected?
iPhones are ornery. You need to sign out and close your browser and Tap. The clear browser and app data. Then hard reset your iPhone. That should do it. It's what I did on my iPhone 8. My Android required nothing special! Lol
Man, fellow PAer too! Sorry.
As for the damage, $12K is probably quite right. Unfortunately, trucks are not so rough and ready anymore with the kinder, gentler world we live in.... Looks like the entire bed was pushed in by the hit, and you can't quite pull them out like yesterday's trucks.
Definitely a ceramic window tint. I personally like Xpel. Paint Protection Film is an investment, but one that proves itself in keeping the look and value of your truck up. As for coating, that's up to you. There are benefits to advanced coatings of today, but if you regularly detail yourself...
Most of us have this. You can find everything about this with a search. It's basically torquing a fastener, and if it won't take the torque it has to be replaced.
As for your trailering, too much unknown to comment.
It's been warm here in PA last couple of days. I broke out the green masking tape, and with my wife's two good ears seem to have traced the majority of the wind noise to a passenger side window seal and a door seal. Clear sloppy fit of the window seal, but door seal looks ok so speculate maybe...
