They don't - they are made so they don't interfere with the storage compartment.

Nice, those are the same ones that came with my Rebel - I like them enough that I won't have to buy some weathertechs.

That's crazy, I got the level 2 equipment group because of all the extras, and it doesn't say it would delete the heated mirrors on the website, nor does the blindspot addon show that either.

I'm 99% sure that they are not heated - we had a snow fall today and when we took the truck out for a drive (with the rear defroster button pushed, and self shut off), none of the snow melted - that's when I noticed they weren't heated. My Outdoorsman's tow mirrors' heating worked really well.
