Is it possible to add Blind Spot?

Do you have to have a trailer hooked up to see the setting in Uconnect? I don't have the trailer auto/max length option under my Blind Spot setting.

What did you do to your Ram today???

I’ve got an aftermarket exhaust that (now) used to vibrate the cabin. Most notably at idle.

What did you do to your Ram today???

For $63 I got 9 pieces of 18x32 and had one sheet leftover. Used Noico sound deadener sealing tape around rough edges.

What did you do to your Ram today???

Sound deadener on the rear floorpan and back wall. Noticeable difference in quieting down the interior. It’s just cheap Amazon Basics sound deadener but seems pretty high quality to me. Going to buy more and do the doors.

Is it possible to add Blind Spot?

Something interesting I found are these Chinese knock-off and near-identical LED tail lights. I bought them on eBay for under $600 for the pair. The tail light harness for the halogen tail lights plug directly into these. There is a thin, cheap adhesive flap on the back covering the hole where...

What a rip off! $78 with one key? When I bought this a year ago it was $59 and came with two.

    Hellcat Oil Pump Install

It is not a guarantee because there is no way to prove that if you never had a lifter problem over the life of your engine that it was thanks to the oil pump. It certainly is good for peace of mind though, and inexpensive. Just need a free weekend to do it.

Tired of exhaust drone? Get a J-Pipe

General update to the thread: I disabled ANC with Crutchfield part number 794ANCCH3 and it improved the drone further. As stated before I still have some drone around 3000 rpm, but disabling ANC definitely took the bite out of it. Highly recommend—also for if you upgrade your speakers.

Tired of exhaust drone? Get a J-Pipe

Hi Natro, To get the bad news out of the way first, it will be virtually impossible to get rid of 100% of the drone in the cab with a j-pipe alone. Because a j-pipe is tailored to a specific frequency, it will quiet that RPM range down completely but you will then notice a little bit as you...

Tired of exhaust drone? Get a J-Pipe

Yes I used a Milwaukee bimetal hole saw. Used a drill press to cut out a hole in the main pipe and used the cut circle to weld on the end of the j-pipe after some flattening and trimming. I used 16GA 409 stainless to match my exhaust system. Because I'm targeting a specific RPM drone to cancel...

Tired of exhaust drone? Get a J-Pipe

I have no drone at cruising speeds, what gears do you have? What temperature are you getting out of each tailpipe after a long drive? Are your j-pipes the same exact specs as the exhaust system? If the gauge, diameter or type of steel are not the same, the wavelengths will not resonate the same...

    S&B Filters Cold Air Intake

I leave mine open year round. No difference driving in the heat of summer. I feel that heat soaking is only going to be an issue at the drag strip.

    Hellcat Oil Pump Install

Disclaimer: This thread is not a debate over which solution is best for proactively solving the lifter/cam issue. This is meant to help those who wish to replace their oil pump with one for a Hellcat/SRT, as there are some sticky situations to be mindful of. For those who haven’t heard about...

Tired of exhaust drone? Get a J-Pipe

@cmbernal86 Awesome man! Glad it worked out for you. Don’t worry about the placement. I don’t doubt that there is a -most efficient- spot to put a j-pipe due to temperature fluctuations throughout the system, as your frequency is directly related to temperature, but in the practical world from...

Tired of exhaust drone? Get a J-Pipe

Nice setup. Strictly speaking, the pipe can be attached any way 360 degrees around your exhaust pipes. It could hang below your system because there's the most room, but I recommend against it so water doesn't get trapped in there and rust it out. Yes, water will sit in your muffler and...

Tired of exhaust drone? Get a J-Pipe

Looking forward to the results! To emphasize brian42 true duals definitely need two J-pipes. I would imagine that would be a very tight squeeze to fit four parallel pipes all next to each other, but I'm sure something more creative is possible if it doesn't fit. Also as a general update to...

Do 18's fit? Wheel and Tire recs for my 2021 1500?

Do 18's fit? Wheel and Tire recs for my 2021 1500?

Depending on the offset not all aftermarket 18 inch wheels will fit. Shaving down the calipers may be required to clear balancing weights
