It is not a guarantee because there is no way to prove that if you never had a lifter problem over the life of your engine that it was thanks to the oil pump. It certainly is good for peace of mind though, and inexpensive. Just need a free weekend to do it.

General update to the thread: I disabled ANC with Crutchfield part number 794ANCCH3 and it improved the drone further. As stated before I still have some drone around 3000 rpm, but disabling ANC definitely took the bite out of it. Highly recommend—also for if you upgrade your speakers.

I leave mine open year round. No difference driving in the heat of summer. I feel that heat soaking is only going to be an issue at the drag strip.

Can't say for sure because I have no experience with any wheels other than my stock wheels vs my Fuel wheels. They are -12mm offset

Depending on the offset not all aftermarket 18 inch wheels will fit. Shaving down the calipers may be required to clear balancing weights
