I’m being told it should be between $800-$1000. If that’s the cost then I’ll pay it. If it’s anymore then I’ll fly and pick it up. I would only pay for gas since I have points to fly and points for a hotel. We flew to Dallas back in 2017 to pick up my wife’s car. This is a little bit...
I second #2. I was the proud owner of the new style Tundra back in 2007 when it first came out and that was one of my favorite features. I can't believe the other car makers haven't done this yet. The Tundra also had the soft open tailgate in that 2007, something that Ram still didn't have on...
Aaron at Mark Dodge never said this was even an option. You sure they can do this?
Just confirmed that's not an option. The truck always ships to the dealership that purchased it.
Now that I've secured my Rebel build I started thinking about whether or not I should ship my truck from Mark Dodge to Phoenix, AZ or fly over there and drive it back. I'm leaning toward shipping right now to avoid putting 1300 miles on the truck right away. All of you that have had your truck...
Had a local dealer tell me factory orders are MSRP minus any rebates available when truck arrives. I laughed and moved along. They definitely make it easy to cross them off the list of dealers to ever do business with.
There's a benefit to having fixed running boards that don't retract. That's door dings. A car decides to park next to you and fling their door open, instead of it hitting your truck it nails the running board. Now of course if it's a truck parking next to you that doesn't work.
Well I went ahead and ordered my Rebel today.
MSRP = $61,255
Invoice = $57,453
Sale Price = $53,655
Current rebates are $2000, crossing my fingers that doesn't drop in April or May when the truck is due to arrive. Crossing my toes hoping they actually go up. Signed up for the PenFed account...
So I'm locked in at $53,313. Doesn't look like they can take anymore off at this time. This is a factory build. Just joined PenFed, so I'm asking Aaron if I'd be able to use that on a build to make sure. That's puts me right at 17% below MSRP. I was really holding out hope for 18%, but...
My local salesperson told me it was affecting the blind spot monitoring and people were getting a $200 credit toward their builds. This article just confirms what he was saying. I'm in the semiconductor industry and we are slammed.
Sounds good, thanks again. I'll tell you what if I could just get that $1500 pop up I could order now lol. I'm almost right where I want to be and with this PenFed cert you just told me about you just saved me another $1000. Much appreciated.
Wow, so should I notify my dealer that I will also have another $1000 off certificate AFTER we negotiate a deal that way it can be applied once it gets here.
My local dealer stated I can use the rebates that are active now or when the truck arrives. Whichever ones are better.
I have a question. If I order now can I use the PenFed discount when the truck arrives which would be after 60 days or do you have to use it when you place the order?
Okay just joined PenFed. Says you have to wait 60 days to be able to use the $1000, but at least it's something. Also did the AllState and Geico Truecar thing, so hopefully that generates some discounts. Hopefully they are allowed to be used on factory builds.
You posted as I was writing...
So I can do the Allstate thing and get a code for $500. Can I also join PenFed (not sure what that is) and get a $1k discount as well? Do these work for factory builds?
So, would you consider this a good deal then since it's over 6.6% off invoice? I was holding out for 18% off MSRP, right now I'm at 15.69%.
