Tires went on today. 35x12.5r20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Definietly felt a bigger change from lift to Tires than from stock to lifted. Got a bit firmer with the F-Rated tires but still light years better than my BMW X5.
To me, I think these trucks look nose high when perfectly level, and personally I don't like the look when the hood line peaks above the bed line. I have 1/2" of rake so I'm cool with it. Hub to fender was ~21.5", currently 25" front 25.5" rear. So approximately 3.5" of front end lift and...
Well I've been sitting on my RL Kit for over a tear trying to decide on what I wanted to do. Well here she is, looks great. rides great so far. Slightly firmer but not near as firm as my BMW X5. Road perfect through some winding roads, held corners well, less sway than the ride to the shop...
What size wheel and tire are you running, I read another post a while back that had a similar issue and there was contact with the control arms at full turn...
Nice! My lift is finally getting installed on the 22nd. I've been torn between going with #4 or #5. I don't mind a bit of rake as level makes me think the hood line is too high. Plus I won't be running helper bags. I'm installing the 5100's up front and 5160's out back along with the RL...
Can I get a side shot of your truck? I want to see how level it looks. Finally scheduled to have my RL Kit w/o preload installed & the 5100/5160's on June 22nd. Trying to figure out if I want to go #4 or #5 on the 5100's.
I have the same but black, no reflector. I think it's great for it's purpose. I got rear ended at a traffic light w' zero damage so it definitely helps to protect the backend....
Bilstein also told me that the 5100's wouldn't work with the RL Kit, and then Readylift said the 5100's wouldn't work either. Companies typically only say setups they have tested work for liability reasons.
Waiting for shelter in place to be over. Probably gonna try 5 maybe 4 to be safe, I don't mind a bit of rake. Also picked up Bilstein 5160s for the rear.
Finally received my CPLAY2air adapter for Wireless Apple Carplay and so far it seems to work great. A little extra load time as it connects but that was expected. No issues with sound Quality or touch screen speed was noticed on initial use.
