Painted my blind spot sensors with a peelable wheel/body paint by Duplicolor. Their metallic gray is nearly a perfect match to the RAM Metallic gray body color.
I’m adding the Mopar 2” lift and would like to try it with the ORP springs. That said there are like 20 different springs on Mopar websites (each with a 3 letter reference). Does anyone know the 3- letter reference that points to the ORP springs ?
Got with the Laramie and put a modest lift on it with a nice set of A/T tires...you’ll get the look you want without all the off-road features you don’t need
Drive to the nearest Dodge dealer and trade the RAM for a Charger or Challenger. It’s a truck, not a drag car.
But if you insist, exhaust (I recommend Borla), intake, and a HemiFever tune. That’s about all you can do, and you’d likely still get smoked by an Ecoboost
Was able to get my OPT7 installed with a few simple parts from the hardware store. Just be aware that you have to mount it as low as possible toward the bumper to prevent interference with the tailgate when it’s opened. Ignore the sloppy wiring, it was just temporary.
I’m pretty happy with...
Simple fix. Get MaxCare and never worry about the miles!
(Oh and don’t forget about the lifter issue with HEMIs. Had the top end of my 14’ grand Cherokee rebuild twice, cam, several lifters, etc.)
That was my first guess, but they same reasonably priced compared to high quality aftermarket options. What I liked is the dealer could flash and turn on the Uconnect functionality.
I went to three online MOPAR retailers and they showed “discontinued” on their websites. Then I called my local dealer and they show the same in their computer.
It appears that MOPAR discountinued the power running boards as an accessory. I guess that means those of us that didn’t opt for the option when building (or bought pre-owned like me) are out of luck (or have to go the aftermarket route).
Does anyone know the reason they were discontinued?
It’s legit....I called FCA/ Unconnect. They also did it several times for my 14’ Grand Cherokee.
Man you must live a fearful life. I feel sorry for you...not everyone in the world is out to get you.
Well the KO2 will be a major upgrade over the stock tires whatever size I decide. Unfortunately the 285/60/20 are roughly $500 more expensive than either of the other two options. I can’t justify $500 for the 4/10th” wider and 1/2” taller the 285/60/20 would give me over the 275/60/20...
I’m looking to replace the stock tires on the stock 20” rims on my 2019 Laramie. I’ve decided on the BFG KO2s (have them on my Jeep and love them). The two sizes I’m between are listed below. I’m soon going to be adding the Mopar 2” lift.
275/60/20- 33” height/10.8” width

I mean I was mailed an envelope directly from FCA with a letter stating my Uconnect needed updated. With the letter they included a USB drive with the software update. Unfortunately it will not load when inserted in any of the USB ports. I even when as far as copying the files to another...
I recently received an UConnect update directly from FCA (18.45.xx). When I put the update in the USB 1 port, nothing happened. Has anyone else received this update and had success getting it to install?
Randomly on several occasions, my Ram will not recognize my key fob when it’s in my pocket. Eventually after several try’s, it will start. Is anyone else having a similar issue?
