That's why I think they come off. I used a flashlight and magnifying glass and am pretty sure they are glued on. There are no fasteners in the back...If you come across this website again, please let me know. My local chrome shop can re-chrome the plastic black chrome...
Interesting. My update took 12 hours to finally do online searches. 24 hours something changed. It went back to not being able to search. It then asks if you want to search offline. I hit ok and it does the online search. makes no sense to me....
I think its the torque converter getting a signal to lock up/unlock rapidly causing the driveshaft to pulse like in the previous video..... But mine never does it on remote starts.....If it were a "hard" problem, it would do it every time. I thinks its a soft problem....
So on my quest to reduce the amount of chrome on my truck, I removed the side steps. Painstakingly removed all the plastic and took them in to have the chrome removed. (I'm waiting…) AND was told they couldn't remove the chrome....I was like why, you said you could over the phone, The guy looks...
Like most, when my truck idles, im in the low 60s. When driving, I'm in the high 40s. Seems to me part of the issue could be a Freon volume flow issue. We need a hack with a higher flow rated compressor...….
Can someone photo shop this and turn the chrome into matte black?? Bumper and grill.....might wrap it.... If not, I will have the chrome stripped and paint it like a sport.....
There is no spray on earth that will protect a dash as good as keeping ALL the sun off. It was 112 the other day and I bet the dash WOULD HAVE been at least 150-175. Spray will prevent UV, simply wont help with the dash cooking. I have a sun shade as well. Those too are mandatory!
