Weird because I'm sure my seatbelt is buckled everytime I'm shifting to drive and it still only does it sporadically. I'll keep an eye on this though, maybe that is what I'm doing.

That's weird. I'm pretty sure mine are heated. If you put on the rear window defroster they are supposed to put the heated mirrors on at the same time..
