That’s what these are. Install looks super easy. If you need anything call Steve at Timber Grove. He’s awesome. Even did the two inch airbag extension to compensate for my lift
As said above our trucks already have CAIs. They are fairly restrictive due to the filter type and the charcoal filter. You can replace the whole intake or remove the charcoal and switch to a better filter. Either way if that is your only mod you probably wont see a whole lot of difference.
oh i had bds on my last truck. the are good but honestly they are over priced and the ride quality wasn't much better (probably just from the fox shocks) than my truck is now unless you opt for the coilovers but there goes 6k. You are really paying for a brand name and warranty.
haha no thanks. I aint cutting into my truck yet. besides I don't think that will help much as its still using spacers. if anything ill just add the fox shocks
I'm looking to improve ride quality after my lift. Will replacing the N3 shocks from rough country with higher quality ones help (Fox or king) or will I just need to replace the springs?
actually just looked up the install vid on the timber groves and went that route with the 2" bag extension. Seems like a no brainer for a simple install too.
yea it sounds like the 1000s will be my best option. I think I need to drill a whole in my rear spacer though to run the air house. I may get a compressor to install just to make it easier. Can anyone recommend a good compressor that I can control from inside the truck? Really appreciate the...
Right now my truck sags about 2-2.5” with the boat hooked up (the lift doesn’t do my any favors). Would those bags be enough to level my back out or do I need to go with something like the airlift 5000?
Looking at air bags and have never done them before. Do you need to install a tank with them to control for them truck or do you have a separate air compressor for them? I'm also towing a 7,500lb boat. I found the air lift 1000 that say they hold 2500lbs. Do you think that would be enough?
Dude you knew what I meant and you exaggerated it so you could try to sound like a know it all. You’re playing Capt obvious here. You’re taking the exception to the rule and making it the rule. The factory doesn’t optimize anything cause they have to be California compliant. Systems that...
Well no duh you have to find the right size for your engine. I thought we were using common sense and not being ridiculous. Common man. Don’t try to act like a know it all by stretching simple statements. I’m pretty sure I said going from 2.5” to 3”.
Again if you can get a catback with 3" pipes instead of 2.5 then its gonna be better and if you can go to true dual exhaust then your going to be better off as well but I agree most people just throwing a CAI would be better off just getting a better filter and removing the carbon filter
