Received a Scangauge II recently. Mainly want to monitor EGT’S and regens. So, per the Scangauge site for Ecodiesel, I set up Cat Bank 1, Sensor 1 (DPF), EGT 1 (TRB), EGT 2 (DOC) and Soot Manager (STM). And I don’t want to use an app. Here’s my questions.
- apparently a regen happened shortly...
Have you owned one? I’ve owned 2., a 2014 and a 2020. VM Motori has been making diesels for decades. Unless youve owned one, you’re not calling like it is, you’re calling it like you e heard somewhere.
Put my OEM Bighorn wheels on OfferUp for $600. Guy offered me $75 each as “ that’s near what“ he sells them for. I said no, I’d give them to Goodwill first. He asked which one? I told him they weren’t stupid enough to sell them for $75 each either. I sold them 2 hours later for $500 total...
Every truck I’ve had for the last however many years, Ford and Ram, I’ve put clear sealant around the third brake light as they’ve all has leaking issues. It’s just easier to me to deal with it myself.
Only if you have significant unfinished regens and the soot is too high. It will inform you then to drive on the hwy to allow a full regen. Under normal circumstances, you will see nothing.
Added the passenger door foam cup holder. Couldn't get the installation video to upload. It was an AWESOME 5 second video of my hand installing the cup holder!
I love the "regular" hemi, don't care for the e-torque. But, the real reason is, I've been in light diesels for a while, and I just like diesels. And didn't want to pay for a Cummins.
