I also have the Airlift 1000HD and wish I hade gone with the Timber Grove in the first place. IME the 1000HD just don't help as much as I expected/want them to. They do help, but the Timber Grove are a MUCH more comprehensive solution, relatively easy install, and much higher quality.
The course mount is plugged in to charge the phone. It is only run to the 12V above the stereo. I have the Magsafe mount that charges the phone while it is mounted. The Carlinkit is plugged into the media hub and hidden behind the stereo. If I wasn't charging the phone with the mount, I wouldn't...
Honestly, I don't really use it for music often. I mostly use XM for music. I use mine primarily for the navigation. I absolutely despise the RAM navigation. Now I can just hold the speech button on the steering wheel and it accesses Siri (Google Assistant on Android) instead of the RAM system...
Simple, Carlinkit. Look on Amazon. Gives you wireless Carplay. I hate that these trucks have so much tech in them, but they couldn't be bothered to add something as simple as wireless Carplay. I actually use Android, so I have the Mag Safe mount for charging, and the cable run behind the stereo...
I won't even start to suggest side steps, since there are literally thousands of options and the look is completely subjective. However, I would suggest starting with a Hellwig rear sway bar!! You can thank me later. :)
As for Tonneau cover, I LOVE my Undercover Armourflex cover. Has been...
I actually really enjoyed the feature, while it worked. This is my first truck and had NO experience backing a trailer before getting my camper, so this feature was nice to have. It made backing my camper through the gate (only have about 2" to spare on either side) much less stressful and...
I use the Course Motorsports magsafe phone mount and the 12V port above the stereo. I have the usb run behind the stereo so there is no cable hanging. I also use the AAWireless wireless Android Auto adapter, and have it hidden behind the stereo also. Nice, clean install with no cables and...
OP, I would just get AlfaOBD and correct the tire size. It is VERY easy and corrects the Odometer, speedometer, and MPG calculations. You will then also be able to change a number of additional things. For example, on my RAM, I changed the running lights to the amber turn signals (looks SOOO...
I have one in my RAM. It does have wireless charging for Iphone. I have an Android, so I had to purchase rings on amazon that I attached to the back of my phone, and it works great. I plugged the USB in and ran the cable behind the radio, so there is no wire hanging. I definitely recommend this...
I have the 33g tank and use my RAM as my daily driver, so I fill up almost weekly. If I ONLY drive to work and back, I can make it 2 weeks on a tank. I use the 2 click method (fill to click, wait 30 seconds, fill to click, done) and rarely go below 1/4 tank.
I have been using mine for several months now and have pulled the TT several times with NO issues. My bags still hold pressure with no leaks at all. They do not do as much for reducing squat as I was hoping but they do help. If I continue to tow the TT regularly, I may eventually upgrade to the...
I am running Yokohama Geolandar G015's and have been very happy with them. They have a bit less aggressive tread than other AT's, but tow well, and are quiet and comfortable. Just my $0.02.
Never said a word about playing in the mud, and have never done so in my truck, though I don't think there is anything wrong with it. :)
Last thing I will add to this thread (because there is no point in arguing with people who think they are right about EVERYTHING!)
ANYONE that drives...
4 ply refers to the number of rubber layers a tire has. The more ply, the heavier the tire and the more pressure and weight the tire is rated to. Most passenger tires are going to be 4 ply, while LT, E rated, etc. will be more. My E rated tires are a 10 ply. Downside is that they are heavier...
