I had the driver's side one pop open while I was driving. I find myself having to slam them shut now to make sure it stays closed. They are both warped at the far end towards the back but I am not about to let the dealer make it worse... They don't seem to know how to fix these issues or just...
Yeah, based on what your experiences have been with repairs I'm going to let it go for now. Just frustrating. Love the function of the ram boxes. loved them on my 4th gen. This 5th gen vendor for the ram boxes sucks. I find myself pushing down on the lid now to make sure its latched before...
No it was definitely closed first thing I checked haha. I’m thinking maybe the seal got hung up on itself when it closed? I don’t know. Hopefully just something stupid like that.. just wanted to know if it’s happened to others. The Carole did it was in reference to The Tiger King haha. I was...
Here’s some pictures. I will ask the dealer to address them at my next oil change in a few weeks. Sucks and kinda embarrassing to have a 70k truck and you see this all the time... one of them popped open the other day while driving as well..
I know this has been discussed in the past but has anybody had their ram box lids fixed or replaced under warranty? I know you can adjust them if needed but mine appear warped. One bends inwards on drivers side, the passenger one now sits sticking out. I never had this problem with my 2017 ram...
This is the first time noticing the leak. I went through again yesterday to test it. It did not appear to leak. So I'm thinking maybe the seal just got caught up or something when I closed it last time? Nobody else seems to be having issues so thats my guess?
I own a 2020 Ram 1500 Limited with about 7000 miles on it. Today, while in a touchless car wash, water started dripping inside from the middle of the sunroof along the edges of both glass. Has anybody else experienced a leak coming from their panoramic sunroof where the two pieces of glass meet...
Let me know how well the seal holds up on this, i keep worrying the one on my 2020 limited is going to leak from everybody stating theirs does... this may be worth swapping out.
I'm curious if they will be able to add the new rearview mirror camera and LED brake light? Is the new LED brake light a bed camera as well like on the 2500s or just and LED brake light? Either way hopefully it won't leak..
If
you push and hold on the song that you have alerting you on the screen that lists all of the songs. it'll give you the option to delete it at that point. Its only like 12 songs that it lets you save i remember being able to save more on my 2017. its annoying.
I have the mopar soft tri fold one on my 2020 limited with ram boxes and multi function tailgate. it seems to serve its purpose so far, no issues, pretty easy to use.. I do find the tailgate doesn't pop down when i use the fob now it stays up from the cover, not sure if thats for all bed covers...
Looks good, I did the same with my blue limited. I also changed out the chrome mirrors, I don't mind some chrome but the mirrors were bothering me for some reason haha.
I had no idea the reasoning behind the switch in vendors. Just noticed the difference in materials quality between my 2017 and my 2020 limited. Thanks for letting me know.
I had a 2017 Ram 1500 Sport with the rambox and never had a single issue with them. When operating them you could tell They were clearly better built on the 4th gen. The 5th gen ones feel cheap when closing and seem smaller inside. Wish they had not switched vendors...
Are these basically like the corner ones but just deploy out more in the middle? If so I really need one for my limited, hate stepping up on the bumper every time..
