not a soft tonneau. Soft Topper is like a canopy or cap or whatever it is called in whatever region one lives in. they have a canvas top and are foldable.

you have a no issue truck that you appear to really like except for off road performance. my vote is for upgrading your suspension on your current truck. do your research and pick what you believe will fit your needs

i get a random "pop" noise. doesnt fit the description of any of these listed. does not sound like metal on metal at all, almost an artificial sound. i run 89 or 91 octane.

i noticed you ordered with MFT and a trifold tonneau cover. i am interested to see how they work that out since most covers will not work due to the brackets at the front of the bed. let us know what happens with that.
