I think you need to get 20” rims. My hakk. Studded tires came in 20” max. Fortunately I have 20” stock rims on my Ram so just used my rims and switched them .
I appreciate the reply however I too have many years experience with purchasing products from US manufacturers. My question to Canadians on the forum was specific to people who had actually ordered direct and received a Retrax .
Nokian are the best. I have the Hakk. 9SUV studded on my truck and are fantastic in snow ice conditions. Been using Nokian on all my vehicles since 2014. This is my first set of the studded and are amazing in the snow. There is noise but in my 2021 at highway speed and radio on not noticeable...
I am just curious if any of my fellow Canadians in forum world here have bought a Retrax directly from the Retrax.com site . If so please comment on how it went.. delivery time , any issues held at border, extra charges for Canada shipping , duties ? Thanks in advance for your replies
I recently bought my 2021 sport and before taking delivery already had arranged for a set of Nokian studded winter tires to be installed two days after taking delivery. The stock tires I will likely run next spring summer but will also replace them when finances allow and will not use them more...
Ok. Good luck. I have decided to get the RO brackets ( ordering tonight) and go with the Retrax XR . It looks to be a top notch cover and should last me a while. I’ll post pics in future once I have installed and based on this thread I should not have any issues... other than getting my wife to...
It's the Ram 3500 I was wanting and still think about it but in the long run using my truck as a daily driver and only towing smallish trailer in 2021 and beyond I am happy with my decision. Truck drives beautifully and likely a lot smoother than the 3500. Happy New Year everyone!
I’ve been reading this entire thread and noticed you were getting the Retrax XR which is something I’m thinking about. Using the Right on brackets did it install without issues?.
I am hoping a mopar version can be designed so I do not have to buy an after market bed brace prior to install of a tonneau cover. The retrax covers are definetly a quality product and if mopar does not have an OEM install within 6 months or so I will likely go with the Retrax.
1. Ram Airflow ( complete)
2. Tonneau cover
3. Mopar or Carli lift kit
4. Ceramic paint protection coating
5. New tires all season ( I have winter Nokian studded )
The tonneau cover likely the last thing I do as I have the multi function tailgate and I will wait likely for the Mopar version ...
If you have to ask .. then yes you need one.. I’m not sure what your max payload is on your configuration but with a 650-700 pound hitch tongue weight yes get a WDH. Your big horn with a few people in in will be close to max payload so why not have it run smooth. Airbags in the back to raise the...
I am basically in the exact situation you are in. I’m just waiting for spring before purchasing a travel trailer. After a lot of research online I’m likely going with the Anderson Weight Distribution. The setup and overall engineering of it has me sold. My trailer will likely be around the...
Thanks for the reply. I’m kinda with you and have no issue with my dealer. My truck is brand new and warranty is important. I am a believer that keeping parts and service from a dealer in the long run helps immensely with resale. If a potential buyer knows everything has been done at a dealer...
Thought I would reach out to you all for a yes or no on adding the mopar 2” lift to my 2021 Ram 1500 Sport. I was concerned about the handling characteristics but from my research here it sounds as if the ride quality remains . I will be using the factory 20” inch wheel setup for a while likely...
To add from the others comments, you also have the ability to go to the High Output Cummins if choosing the 3500 but that does add dollars but I feel well worth. Either Cummins engine is good but HO likely to have better resale if that is a concern. The ride quality likely smoother with the 2500...
To be honest I changed the air intake after only 300 km so the Hemi experience is low regarding stock sound, and from inside the truck I don’t hear much difference but my hearing sucks like the intake sucks (air)😂.. I think it adds a bit of sound on the exceleration for sure though and am please...
