i glued these auto weather strippings along the l/r sides of the bed wall as you could see in the pics, these definitely helped with minimizing the water leakages, not sure about dust. If you really want to prevent dust from getting into your groceries, get a $6 moving blanket and covers them...

I go to my guy for $15 labor, my parts. This includes oil change, filter change, water coolant refill, tire rotations and psi check. Cant beat this deal...no reasons for me to do it myself. Then again, I've been going to him for the last 15 years...he does all my family's cars.
