I personally like them. They do give off a noticable amount of light. More so towards the shoulders of the road. I live in the county, so they definitely help.
I didnt have to do any trimming. I did heat up a couple spots of the inner fenderwell. Then mold in. I used the same spacers on the readylift 3.5" and they rubbed hard. However using spacers on the now installed BDS 4", no issues at all. Even the rub I did have, is very minimal.
I spoke with Bora abt having spacers made and if I was to need longer studs. They said "as long as I can get a minimum of 8 full turns, with wheel on, of the lug nut that I would be good.
However at the moment I installed a set of hubcentric 1.5" spacers I had. Kinda like the look of it at the...
If you added the override switch, yes you can. Otherwise they will close with the door. I believe there is a safety with the amp steps, meaning if something would get in the way of it closing, it would stay open. But I wouldnt want to have to do this every time to accomplish what your after.
Looking good!! 1 thing to suggest. Replace the machine screws for the clutch bracket. With stainless.
Mine are rusting. Going to stop by hardware store tomorrow and pick up a pair.
Thank you sir.! I really dont feel like its sluggish at all. I dont romp on it too much, so it gets to the speed I want efficently. I do believe the 3.21 helps in that dept.
The running boards are connected via the OBD port. Plug and play. They open with doors, and are not connected to the...
Has anyone installed .5" wheel spacers yet? If so, did you need longer studs?
Going to install the BDS 4" lift here in a week or so. Minimum backspace required is 5". My factory rebel wheels are 5.25". So I wanted to add .5" to give me a lil extra room.
Thanks in advance.
The kit that Vice does, includes a new powder coated filler panel that goes in the main opening of the bumper. Covering the fairlead mount and surrounding area.
I took my factory one and cut up to fill the voids. Instead of using Vice's panel. Gives it a little more factory feel to me.
What...
Well finally after a couple days, I'm finally finished. Since my truck had the solid mesh filler panel, I opted to modify and utilize. Did a couple tweaks and made it work for me.
Probably going to remove the hook mount. I use a closed system. But I'm gonna leave it till I find a plug that...
I know the filler plate touches the mount, was curious to how far the mount was away from the bumper opening. I have my kit in the garage, just waiting till I get a day off. Lol
Question for those who have already installed. How far was the fairlead mount from the bumper?
I would assume it is extremely close if not touching. Due to the filler plate just being sandwiched between the fairlead and mount.
