Since I don't have a SxS but I love the concept of rock lights and whips while night riding, I decided to install some on my ram! Loving the look! I decided to go with Infinite Offroad due to theyre great 25 year warranty. The whips and rock lights have both RGB and dedicated white diodes for a...
Idk its just a coincidence that as soon as I started hauling *** on the trails while testing the king shocks the oil filter starts leaking with 25% life haha and my tailgate bushing broke. Who knows, maybe the tech did mess it up and it finally just gave out.
Hey rebel fam! We are having a trail run in SoCal (Gorman Ca) on the 14th of November. We are going to have a professional video done so we are trying to gather up as many rebels as we can! Doesn't need to be a Rebel, as long as its 4x4. Feel free to message me if there are any questions!
I always take it to the dealer for all work but im sure that wasn't the issue. I was already at 25% on oil life and I offroad my truck a lot and usually at highway speeds. I'm really surprised the skid plate doesn't protect it.
So my truck was sitting for about two weeks and I turned it on today and did a few errands and when I got back there was a puddle of oil. I checked under the chassis and there was oil everywhere! It made it all the to my rear shock! I was trying to pinpoint where it was coming from since the oil...
That's the plan now. I really didn't think it was the filter because it was dry at the threads. It was a really small hole but the filter did look a bit beat up once I cleaned off the oil. It made a huge mess.
Woooowww lol so I decided to crawl under while running to see if it dripped from anywhere from the oil pressure and I found a microscopic hole on the oil filter itself. Must have happened from rocks while offroading. Might look into a gaurd for that now.
I'm not sure if its the powering steering pump or the cv axle system thats leaking. It managed to drip all the way down the chassis towards the rear and splatter on my rear shocks. Wow...
It doesn't have any more flex than stock from what I've felt. Tbh I haven't really looked into that since I purchased these to go fast. It does 50-60 mph in the desert like butter. Just gotta be careful with nasty ruts.
Yea these high performance shocks are expensive and then u start breaking more stuff on the trail lol my tailgate latch isn't functioning well since this trip haha. But I kinda regret not ordering them from my local shop "accutune".
