Yes, I have the correct shocks but the wrong springs. This brings me to a couple important questions that are besides the fact that I didn't get the 1" factory lift that I paid for...(1) how will it effect the ORP shocks using springs that are shorter than the ones they are supposed to be...
Just did some measuring...I have the correct front and rear green tag ORP shocks. I have the 0237AB front springs and from center of wheel to edge of fender is 21.5". My rear springs end in 80AB and my rear measurement is 24".
I passed on some of this info on the Built to Serve owners group on Facebook and one of the members posted that after contacting Ram that his dealer is going to get the ORP springs installed for him.
So this guy posted on Facebook that he picked up his Bighorn Night Edition and for some reason he was given keys to a Limited, but the keys are programmed to his Bighorn. People asked and he says the tailgate drop button on the key fob works. So apparently if you can get some Laramie key fobs...
I have noticed that they look a little brighter to the human eye and a lot brighter in photographs on black trucks...I think it is just the contrasting colors
