I have a 2019 and received an update at the dealer last week.
I took my truck in to have the speedo calibrated... I mentioned to them that my 8.4 had a slight hiccup - when I turned on my truck the display showed the ram insignia then went black, hit the power button - same thing. Only after...
Thx Nails, your knowledge on this is greatly appreciated.
I didn’t think the speakers were directly wired from the radio/head unit... thought they were routed through the amp looking thing under the drivers seat - good to know. Possibly easier to add the middle dash speaker that being the...
Anyone know if it’s possible to add a center dash speaker to the base 6 speaker systems...
I pulled the grill off hoping there might be a connector there (wishful thinking) but did not see anything.
Only interested/worth it to me if it’s a simple solution, changing a wiring harness squashes...
I had the 100R on my last truck, held up great, the paint on the shell still looked new after 15 years, where as the paint on the truck (2004 Tundra) looked like crap and had begun oxidation @ 10 years.
The rear window/hatch is much nicer on the 100XR vs the 100R... well worth the extra $.
crazydrive, did you ever get a shell? Small world - I’m pretty sure I met you at the Leer San Diego dealer... I remember talking with you about your experience with Snug Top.
If you haven’t already purchased one but still plan to, I would read my post above about my experience with Leer S.D...
I went with the Leer 100XR, the rear window/hatch locks/unlocks via the truck fob. I’m very happy with it, the color is spot on... they did ask for the production date along with the color code as the code alone is not specific enough.
Cost $2500 out the door with the headliner & removable...
Does your truck have any rake now? Any chance you can post the measurements from center of hub to bottom of wheel well?
I’m considering adding the ORP springs but don’t want to eliminate all the rake as I often haul about 500lbs of tools in the bed + I have a shell/topper.
Are you running...
Thanks, I do not have the ORG springs... I’m debating on adding them.
I had the Mopar 2” lift on the truck for a good month before swapping the tires so I had plenty of time/miles to evaluate the ride quality of the lift with the stock tires. I think the truck rode better with the Mopar lift...
Here’s pictures of my truck with the Falken’s. (Not sure if you are asking for pictures of my truck or the one at the dealership... I did not take pics of the one at the dealership.
All that said, I put the Falken Wildpeaks on my truck today and really like the way it is sitting now... I’m not really sure I even want to lift it anymore than the Mopar 2” lift already has.
The 295/70r18’s are 34.4” in diameter (essentially the same diameter as the 35” BFG K02’s (K02 is...
I went by the dealership today to check out the trucks they set up with the inverted spring perch/seat. The truck itself looked great and was completely leveled out. However looking closer at the inverted perch, I personally feel it will be prone to early failure...
With the spring perch in the...
Any other input on this...? I’ve been told by someone at Method and also a sales guy at Discount tire that the Method NV 18” x 9” 18mm offset will work. Custom offsets site also says the same, along with their sales rep.
Saw the Method “Grids” in titanium on the custumoffsets site tonight...
Found the thread where forum member CraigB had his spring perch installed upside down, he described the ride as “bouncy”, but he was also running the ORP springs... maybe those springs with the inverted perch was just to much extension for the shock???
I’m looking forward to test driving one of...
Called my dealership today to inquire about adding the ORP/ORG springs to my Mopar lift. They told me that if I wanted an extra 1” - 1 1/2” lift in the front they could flip the spring seat that mounts on the shock upside down. I asked how the ride quality was and the said it was the same, they...
Here are some pics, still on stock tires & wheels, I have some Falken Wildpeaks (295/70r18) coming next week- I’ll be mounting them on the stock wheels for now.
Anyone have any advice/experience on adding the ORP/ORG springs to the Mopar lift. I saw a few people on here who did it but they did not have that many miles on it yet at the time they were posting. Also saw a few saying it was a bad idea...
So after several hours of research on this forum, I think I found my answer... below is a pic of my front shock, I’ve highlighted the spacer that the TSB calls for. Somewhere on this forum is a great thread explaining this and showing pics with and without the spacer... I was going to post a...
