So I did some reading on this forum others have said that the UCAs that come on the ORG trucks are the same as the non ORG trucks.
That being the case, I wouldn’t think the additional 1” on the Mopar lift UCAs is going to be an issue.
Are you experiencing any issues with your current set up...
I don’t think those are the ones he is talking about as they are not forged.
But even with that said, are they really necessary if you have the Mopar lift?
Some food for thought, I believe (anyone who can confirm?) that the ORG/ORP trucks are running the same UCAs as the non ORG/ORP trucks from the factory. If that is the case, the engineers with FCA are confident with the integrity of the UCAs with the additional angle the 1” lift the springs add...
17’s will not fit as far as I know, a lot of 18’s out there don’t even fit. The stock 18’s that come on the Ram barely clear the calipers with only 1/8” clearance.
My1sthemi,
Off topic here, just noticed you have a 6’ 4” ORG... I’ve been looking high and low for the part #’s on the rear springs on your truck.
Any chance you can take a look and see if they still have the part #’s on them?
Honestly, I’m starting to wonder if they even offer a big horn ORG W/ a 6’ 4” bed. I’ve checked so many online dealership inventories and found nothing.
I’m going to use the vin off a 5’ 7” ORG, I’ll post the PN’s when I get them - along with pictures and results once I get it all installed...
thats the thing, I need a vin off a ORP Big Horn - 6’ 4” bed.
My truck is not ORP/ORG, so my vin does not help.
Nibis was nice enough to look and post a big horn he found at a dealer (above) unfortunately it’s not an ORP/ORG truck.
I’ve gone to my local dealers, and searched through a good...
Looking for the Part # for the rear ORP springs on a crew cab big horn.
Tried my local dealers hoping I could find one on their lots/inventory with plans to cross reference the vin and get the correct PN, no luck.
Parts department says there are several different ones available, I’m guessing...
Atrestes1,
Your truck looks great, I’m looking to achieve the same lift on my truck.
Do you know the part # for your Mopar Lift? I want to add ORG springs (all 4) to my Mopar lift... I’m hearing that it might not work in the rear as the springs are to long for the fox shock that came with my...
Thanks weindog,
Hm...
I have the fox shocks (Mopar lift), but I don’t think they are any longer than stock as the rear lift is achieved with spacers.
Atretes1 put the Mopar lift on his ORG truck with no issues...am I missing something?
My truck currently sits @ 23 1/2”front, 24...
Thank you Sir,
I looked high and low and couldn’t find it.
That set up is exactly what I want, now I’m thinking I’ll just go ahead and have all 4 springs installed.
Keeping some rake makes sense in my scenario, plus I read somewhere on here that guys were losing 4 mpg when leveled out due to...
I have a shell/canopy, some of the rake is automatically removed by the weight of it. I also have approx. 500lbs of tools in the back of my truck 50% of the time (which removes another 1/4” - 1/2” of rake.)
I like the look of a perfectly level truck, I just don’t want to have a negative rake...
