Hmm, now you guys have me concerned... my truck goes to the shop today to add ORP springs to my Mopar lift (front springs only).
I’ve had no issues with my lift on my Crew Cab - 6’4” bed (approx 3000 miles since installing).
Jeffjad - How sharp of a turn are you taking @ 35 mph... are we...
I have a DeeZee bed mat, fits 6’4” bed. It’s pretty much new, I had it in my truck for less than a week before I got a bed liner. It’s heavy duty - probably 3/8” thick and fits the bed nicely.
I’m selling it for $60, I’m located 30 minutes north of San Diego. Too much of hassle to ship, local...
I agree 100%, and in no way was trying to justify it... I sure don’t want my truck used for anything.
Techs justify it by saying the vehicle needed to be test drove anyhow ... so what does it matter if I did xy or z while test driving.
Sorry to say, but this is a common place.
I was waiting for my truck in the waiting room of my dealer, over heard the cashier ask a technician when he was going on his next test drive because she was hungry and wanted a burrito.
I worked at a dealership ship from 1997 - 2002 (another...
I’ll also add that when getting that close in tolerances, you really need to verify with manufactures that a certain wheel will fit.
I had a set of Method grids (titanium +18) in my cart ready to buy from Customer Offsets. According to their site they fit my truck, I called them to see how...
I looked into this at great length... I’m dead set on running 18” aftermarkets @ the stock +18mm offset (with 35’s) the only wheel I could find that would work was the Method NV (according to customer support @ Method).
You get a few more options if you go 0 offset, and even more when you get...
Ram1992,
That angle does not look far from where mine are with out the ORP springs, I don’t think one spacer is not going change it that dramatically.
Thanks for the pic, please post again after you get the other spacer installed.
^^^ here’s what mine looks like pre ORP springs.
Thanks for the input Dookie, sounds similar to my thoughts about the factory equipped ORG trucks, as far as I know they run the same UCAs as non ORG trucks, yet have an additional 1” height... so adding 1” to the Mopar 2” lift UCAs is no different.
Seeing others talking about swapping their...
Trying to understand your logic on this one, you purchase a beefed up sway bar with less flex... why would you not replace the links to the sway bar with links that have less flex...especially when you have them in hand at no additional cost?
I’ve poured through threads and have seen a few pics, and many opinions.
Seems like there are a few Mopar lift/ORP owners concerned about their ball joint angle...
The only picture of the actual ball joint I could find was on a truck (jeffJad’s) that had a higher than normal ride height...
those of us running lifts will benefit from installing the adjustable links
I’ll second z0n3’s sentiment. Don’t know why you would not install the beefed up links if you have them in hand. Not to mention, those of us who are running lifts that will benefit from the ability to adjust the...
I have not installed or read the directions yet, but from the looks of it, the jam nut should be down as the opposite side is likely to gather water (inside the tube steel) that would not be able to drain out when positioned the other way.
As far as I know, the new version and the version with the 2 spacers provide the same lift, the only difference between the two is the way the spring perch is positioned on the shock... original version utilizes the spacers to raise the perch on the shock, newer version has the notches that...
