GOOD to know. By the way is this failure in the sense that once it fails, even once, you're screwed? Or like can the system "fail" if you leave it parked in freezing weather for days without driving it...and then make a recovery once stuff warms up or the truck gets some heat into it? And is it...
Hey have any of you Northern Ontario or for that matter ANY part of Ontario, with early vintage Gen 5s had issues with your air suspensions yet? I guess Gen 5 is still kind of new but theoretically if you bought a '19 you're rig's AS would be on Canadian winter No. 3. Not enough time to test...
How BIG are the LTD and LHorn on the inside? I'm an audi owner and I want something REALLY big next, especially tall as the seating position in my current car is too low.
To me this screen isn't a "gimmick". So reason why I say that is size. Again coming from tiny German cars to something this big...I think you need the 12 incher because the smaller variations of the screen look almost ridiculously small in this cabin. So again to me 12 inch is just so nicely...
Totally appreciate this post as the ONLY reason why I'd tick A/S on mine. I work downtown but own properties up north and for the most part this rig could tow TWO of the heaviest thing I own so leveling and squat aren't issues because if I ever actually had to order something that weighed...
For me I saw the over abundance of tech was FOR SURE a gimmick just aimed at driving up the price. Whenever I see "adaptive cruise" I'm like great...something many cars have had for 25 but that cost an arm and a leg, and comes with a camera that will break in a few years and cause stupid check...
I'm really glad about this thread. Up here in Canada, you start adding Ram Box, Pano, A/S and eTorque and you're $80k rig easily crosses deep into the $90ks. But let me come back to the specific topic of A/S as to me etorque seems like a scam (if you want good fuel economy go by a Jetta). Now...
Stupid question alert. So I found that by omitting Ram Box and the Air Suspension I can save about $5,000 on my LHorn. But...I do like the [slightly] elevated look...so like 2 inches max over OEM height. My question is are there any good quality lift kits you can recommend, do they compromise...
Awesome okay thanks. And you guys are for sure against the thick, old school leathery bras? I just like that I can snap in on for a 3 hour hike up to the Cabin or for the 2 days that it takes to hit Florida and then just unclip and go full frontal in the city??
Okay stupid question but: can I do a full bra for the front [to protect from paint chips on my highway drive up north to the cabin] and then just have the ceramic coating applied to the hood and roof so that over the years that part doesn't get faded from sun light? Or does it not work like that?
Okay so I am getting the Ram I have always wanted. Super excited, but as the truck will spend the majority of its life outside...I have two questions: should I get a bra, which I can remove or keep on depending on use or have the truck ceramically coated? Also, is it better to just wash and wax...
Most of my vehicles over the years have had sunroofs but have been garage parked. There is no way I'd be able to fit a 1500 in my garage and so with the potential for YEARs of outdoor parking should I opt OUT of a panoramic sunroof?
