I was trying to diagnose a window noise yesterday with my driver window rolling down and I happened to notice my EGR visor moving a good bit. When checking both fronts, they are extremely loose in the channel all the sudden.
I do not recall this happening last winter, but is this normal...
$1200 for 1 side?
1st off, these are warranteed for the full power train warranty.
2nd off, my slip said the quote with parts and labor for both sides was $800
The only answer is to fill them or repaint the bumper
PPF will help to prevent in the future. Ceramic does absolutely nothing for protection. It only makes cleaning easier.
I just got both mine replaced on my 2021 yesterday.
The tech advisor told me the new ones have an upgraded bolt or mounting of some sort to avoid this in the future.
I got mine replaced at 36k as both were shot, but I’d say I have been dealing with it since like 30-32k miles
I own and have owned many cars, and to date I have never owned a vehicle that was sooo prone to chips than my Ram.
I thought Hyundai paint was the worst until owning this thing
On the comment above, these certainly do mess with the A pillar visibility a good bit! I did not think of that before installing. Takes some getting used to for sure
In channels look wayyyyy better than stick ons.
I got EGR’s as I understand they make the Mopar ones and a fraction of the price. No issues thus far with windows or fold in mirrors

OP is from Canada. Celsius is lower than Fahrenheit. So if he switches his displays to Fahrenheit, his truck will probably start as it will think it’s warmer 🤯
I swear I have used the above stuff with no luck.
This stuff is the worst to get off, especially after sitting in the leather for a good period of time. Subbed for more responses as this is a constant annoyance with all my vehicles with black leather
Have you ever datalogged before? Have you ever tuned before? Have you owned or built something other than a work truck with big tires and rgb lights?
Can you explain how opening your exhaust changes your fueling requirements enough to need to justify changing the values?
