You know it takes like 40 years for advanced military technology to become mainstrream in the public sector right?
And again, the infrastructure for that would take decades to install properly.
Does sound pretty cool though. But maybe that much electricity buzzing through the air on top of...
Love it when @IvoryHemi posts about his towing setup. I eat this stuff up. Always makes me feel like a goober for worrying about towing a trailer 30% smaller than this with only a ~150lbs less payload than him and an otherwise identical truck.
Every time I tell myself my next vehicle/truck won't be black-on-black I see mine or someone else's all shined up and looking like a damn stealth fighter jet and I'm like...might just stick with black lol.
Great looking truck man, how you like the sound of that cat-back?
Welp, truck sat all day yesterday and when I fired 'er up this afternoon, all good. Camera and sensors are back.
Guess Uconnect just had a.....wait for it....
disconnect. Yeah, I said it.
Now the question is, do I keep my service appointment two weeks out? Cause with my luck, everything'll...
That's a good idea too. I'm surprised that it's both the back-up camera AND the rear parking sensors though. Like, I get they're both related to reversing lol but I just didn't think they were "linked". Figured they operated pretty much independently from each other so why would one having an...
Yeah, happened to me once on my Grand Cherokee, came back the following day. Haven't had a chance to check yet today but the truck was on and off a couple times yesterday when it happened and it didn't come back. I will check the connection later.
@Aseras where exactly do I unhook it from?
"Camera System Unavailable"
Blue screen (of death)
No rear parking sensors.
7,200 miles on the truck.
Worked fine as I was leaving to go to the local dealer to get my oil changed and tires rotated. Happened while I was there.
Sus.
Gotta wait two weeks for them to get it in to try and fix...
I seriously think a lot of people believe that electricity is just magic and comes from turbines and generators powered by their own electricity that they haven't produced yet lol.
Looks great man, definitely keen on getting these, then we'll be official truck buddies with matching black, night edition, ReadyLifted Limiteds with Toyo AT3 305's!
Thanks!
ReadyLift 1.5 Inch Leveling Kit (Air Suspension). It's a couple of spacers and new upper control arms along with some brackets to reposition the stock links so the air suspension thinks it's still at normal height after the spacers lift it.
Interestingly, I was actually just a tiny bit...
My one time ever alignment was for something somewhat similar, but not nearly as fun. Smallish pothole that was barely noticeable but really deep on a major highway. Hit the sucker at 72mph, thought my left front shock exploded lol
