You can't adjust the shocks. In you situation, you might want to go with softer coils or more progressive coils that change stiffness through the stroke. They are about the same price as new shocks,
You could probably change this by getting an "L"bracket and mounting the light sideways.. The lights themselves have the bolt that comes out the bottom that won't allow mounting any closer. Besides, regular ditch lights don't interfere with vision.
