There are two additional snap ring slots for the 5100's. On ORG trucks Bilstein says to not go higher than slot 5. You can go I believe to slot 7 on non ORG trucks to get the extra lift without needing ORG springs.
It was meant to be funny. I understand posts often are not easy to gauge. But, of course you are correct. Anyone using pucks is most likely going to pay the price long term.
First, good on you for realizing the mistake before you made it. Many an unsuspecting young lad goes puck and pays the price. Bilstein or Eibach is the answer to your question. The Bilstein 5100's will give you your lift, a better ride, and save you long term damage for about $400 or so...
I second the Bilstein 5100's. Get rid of the pucks. The 5100's are valved for the lift and larger tires and are roughly the same price as other OEM shocks but you'll get your lift too.
That's amazing. I got 23K out of mine. Then I outfitted it for hard off road. I've had 40K on my Ridge Grapplers but I wouldn't recommend them in rainy or snowy places. But, good job on getting that much out of those tires.
