You get into an accident and cause anyone any harm and you are likely uninsurable...your current carrier will drop you immediately. Wouldn't do it. Best of luck to all the people anywhere near you because, frankly, it sounds like you're gonna do it anyway.
Vehicle pricing is market-based...it has nothing at all to do with how much you paid. Just ask the many folks on here that sold trucks they had for years for MORE than they paid. Supply is clearly catching up with demand, and in the case of trucks has likely surpassed it. Anyone that paid...
Nice! Every day I wonder if I should have gone EcoDiesel. I had the Gen2 EcoD in a grand cherokee and put 229K miles on it...ran fantastic. The Gen3 motor is supposed to be largely better. Post a picture by the way!
I ran straight pump DEF in my EcoDiesel Jeep Grand Cherokee for 230K miles with ZERO issues, period. I used a few 2.5 gallon jugs over that time. I ALWAYS bought the cheapest DEF I could find. Never a single issue with DEF quality, freshness, etc etc.
It did get to be pretty fun driving...
Welcome! I have a similarly set up Laramie (PRB's, Adv Safety Group, 12", but no Air Susp, which I miss!). similar experience....our parents, all in their low 80's, can get in/out quite easily. The comfort is stellar, especially on long road trips. You'll love it even more over time. There...
I added the Mopar PRB's to my Laramie...and the dealer can certainly do the installation as well...try to make that a condition of the sale or something. There is no difference between factory and dealer/DIY installed PRB's. (You have to get the correct sales code installed...dealer can do that...
Presumably your mileage is low...why not just buy out the lease, finance it to retain cash, and see what happens with the GMC, or whichever truck bubbles to the top of your list over the next few months. You still have the equity (though there is risk of equity drop if the market cools)...but...
I have the Course mount. Yes it is that easy. Remove the rubber liner from the upper tray, remove the two screws, grasp the top of the bezel and give it a swift, but not hard, pull toward the rear of the truck...super easy and reassembly is just as easy.
Thats a beaut!! I like the sport wheels so much I found a brand new take-off set and put them on my non-Sport Laramie...Love how it looks. There's a thread on the forum somehwere about the first three mods people made on their trucks...that's a good read. Enjoy!
RV prices will be dropping shortly. Inventory is jumping way up...go drive by your local RV dealer. Gas prices slowed demand way down. Likely temporary, but early summer may be a good time to bargain. And that Intech Terra Rover is awesome.
