Silly question, do all the none aux button still work as they should? If so, worst case scenario would be to pop the unit open and hijack the buttons/indicators with an external controller. Of coarse via proper AlfaODB would be best, but if could be done decoupled from the truck.
I'd be willing...
My truck is secondary too. I leave it on a tender and don't have low battery issues. After you get that battery replaced, put it on a tender when not in use. These new cars with all these electronics have a lot of draw, even when not in use.
You can't just buy the switch. You have to replace the entire switch panel module with one that has a switch in that place. The only switch I am aware of in that space is the air ride switch, which again is art of the module. You might be able to swap in the module and most likely your truck...
Does anyone know if the free version of spotify acts like a tablet or cell phone. Free spotify in cell phone mode only plays random and only lets you skip a few songs, where as in tablet mode you can play albums/playlists in order and can skip as much as you want.
Here is a link to all the part #s ..I posted this info on other threads

Don't what to tell you, there is definitely a temperature difference. Both my wife and I felt it right away. Maybe because the lower section is much cooler when foot blowers are going, that it is in fact sucking in cooler air.
Today was insane hot and humid in my area. So I had the AC blasting at max and the vented seats going. Well we all know that max AC blows from the vents that face you and not the foot vents. It turns out, when you switch to foot vents, the vented seats blows colder air. This was a pleasant...
When I bought mine, the edges of the plastic sides were sharp. So I wrapped the contact edge with felt. Not sure if it helps though, have not had them in long enough. I only bought dualliner to prevent body warranty from being voided if rust occurred from linex, but in hindsight it won't matter...
I just tried it again (2020 DT laramie) and checked on the Uconnect. Nothing under settings or as an extra menu(like climate) or as a uconnect app. I guess someone may have to buy the module and see if it works.
Just tried as well. 2020 DT laramie. Enabled the 3 menu points as specified, but no Commercial Menu showed up. Even power cycled a few times and waited up to 5 minutes.
You say the sub booms on every not you believe it shouldn't. Maybe pull the sub and check if it has a proper low pass filter or swap one in that is lower. Most likely the sub is reacting to all notes lower than say 400hz, maybe swap in a low pass that does 100hz or lower. Then it will only react...
Just did a 1500mi trip from Chicago IL, to Louisville KY, to Sweatwater TN, to Gatlinsburg TN, to Nashville TN, to St.Louis MO, back to Chicago IL.
Mixed terrain of of up and down hills.
Always 10 over speed limit, mostly was able to go 80 in a 70 zone(probably 90% of the time).
87 octane
3.92...
Thanks, didn't think I would need to buy new cables, just so other devices would be ignored LOL...was hoping it was a setting in the radio I missed or an alphaobdb setting
